I came to the garden party with my best friend to see her dad. I worked at this home a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. The home had a fabulous feel to it. I watched the staff interact with the service users and I could see how caring they are and attentive. Everyone seemed really happy and calm. I liked the management included themselves as well. Well done 5 star from me you really have transformed the place. I really enjoyed the party. Thank you

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for you're comments, this is very thoughtful of you.

We are very lucky that we have such a caring team and together with the residents we make Diamond House a great place to be, it does feel like our second home rather than a work place.

It is nice to hear that other people see what we see at Diamond House, We hope to see you at our next event.

Regards

Donna

Choosing a care home for a loved one is never an easy decision ,but I have been pleased with care my husband has received. The staff treat him with kindness ,respect and dignity, and it is clear they genuinely care about the residents.
Communication is generally good, and any concerns I have raised have been listened to have been listen to and addressed.
My husband particularly enjoys visits from our dogs, and the staff always make them welcome ,knowing how much comfort and happiness they bring him.
It is lovely to see the warmth and patience shown not only to him but to myself and to all the residents.
No care home is perfect, and there is always room for improvement, but I feel confident that my husband is safe, well cared for and treated as an individual.

I am grateful for the kindness, compassion and hard work shown by the whole team, and I would recommend the home to other families looking for residential care.

I attended the summer fete at Diamond house on the 4th July 2026. The weather was kind which meant that the residents could be brought to the garden and take part in the festivities. It was clear that a lot of effort had taken place to organise the event with plenty of variety of games stalls and music. The staff made sure that they included all residents taking time to talk to them and getting them to join in with the sing song. It was pleasing that staff that were off duty attended showing how much support they give to the home. It was also good that the owner attended with his family. Keep up the good work.

I visit my auntie every few weeks - I live an hour away. She always looks comofrtable. Sadly her mind is not good so she cannot tell me of her experience, but from what I see, all is well with her experience. The staff are particularly kind and helpful. Just one thing to mention, my auntie has been residing for 18 months, and it is the quantity of managers that is puzzling. Now on to no.4! Why are they leaving?

We were asked by the events coordinator if we could help with a game of human "hungry hippos", to which we agreed. We are regular volunteers and the atmosphere is so light and refreshing. The residents are brimming with excitement, even if they are not partaking in the activity. They are such a great bunch with lots of smiles and laughter and are a credit to the staff and carers who do an amazing job. The staff are so bubbly and the interaction with the residents is so amazing. It is such a pleasure to help out and we both look forward to it.

My father-in-law has been at Diamond House for a few months now and loves it. The support and care he receives is fantastic nothing is too much trouble, he even eats better than us! Knowing he is looked after so well is great. There are endless activities to get involved in, something he would avoid before! The staff are friendly, helpful and caring, not just to him, but us when we visit. I just hope that there are care homes like this when I need one!

Mum has advanced dementia. She has been at Diamond House for a few years now and we have been so relieved to see how well she is cared for. The activities are now a bit beyond mum, but it's so lovely seeing how much goes on and that life is made much more interesting for those who can join in.

While we would rather have her at home, it's a comfort that she is safe and lovingly looked after.

Amazing care given to my mum. Her carers were kind and gentle with her. I knew she would be well looked after. The activities put on for the residents were wonderful and seeing my mum join in was so special.

My mum's passing was made easier by the wonderful carers. All I can say is a big thank you.

I have visited my friend on a regular basis since the beggining of this year and my review would have been the same in any month. The staff show consideration and kindness in abundance. There is a very friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I have visited many care homes in Norfolk over the past decade and I would rate Diamond House to be the best. If I had to go into a care home, I would want it to be this one.

The standard of care is exceptionally good and extends from the patient to family members. Recently my wife fell over suffering from a suspected hip damage, and a carer lay on the floor keeping my wife company, this was some three hours after the call and only got up upon arrival of the ambulance and in her own time. A truly wonderful service. Thank you, your manager was also in attendance out of hours.

My Dad had dementia. He'd been in three other care homes, all of which let us down badly, with many serious problems. So by the time he came to Diamond House, I knew what a bad home was like, I can only wish it had been logistically possible for him to come to Diamond House from the start. After a year of literally non-stop hell with the other homes that made me very ill, I cannot tell you the enormous relief it was to know my dad was safe, cared for properly and treated kindly and with respect despite being extremely challenging due to his advanced condition, that I could trust the home and the staff totally, that I could ask anything and voice concerns, be taken seriously and would be listened to and engaged in discussion, not fobbed off, and feel we were working as a team. I can highly recommend Diamond House to anyone, if my dad had to end his days in the sad and heartbreaking state of dementia, not only did the staff treat him with kindness, respect and dignity, but they did me too.

Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback on your experience with Diamond House Care Home. I am so pleased to hear that you are happy with the service provided and that this brought some peace of mind to you during such a distressing time when somebody you love and dearly care for suffers from dementia. I will pass your very kind comments to the team, thank you.
