I can't fault this care home or their staff. My Mother moved from another care home where she was very unsettled and distressed. She moved into Annabel House where she settled straight away and is very comfortable. They can facilitate for her every need. All the staff are incredible with her and her health and wellbeing is at an amazing standard. Any concerns are raised with myself immediately and any requests I have are always welcomed with my mothers best interest at heart.

My father has been a resident for over 12 months and I can highly recommend Annabel House for his care. The staff are always polite and nothing is ever a problem. They keep me updated of any issues with his health and give me reassurance that his nursing care is an extremely high standard.

My mother in law came into Annabel house as respite care in December 2024 she was classed as End of life. The change in her is absolutely amazing she is gaining weight, mobilising, participating in group activities. The home smells clean and all staff welcoming with nothing but fantastic things to say about my mother in law. Her clothes are treated with respect and taken care of, lots of laughter around the home.
The team are angels and the change in my mother in law is incredible.

Annabel House staff are all wonderful, they care for my dad so well, that it feels like a family home. The staff are warm, nurturing and so patient with all the residents, they notice quickly when Dad is not himself and give him the medical attention needed; I can't thank the staff enough, I struggled with Dad going into a nursing home when I could no longer meet his care needs at home, Annabel House staff have given my dad a safe caring home that feels like his home; Dad is calm, relaxed and appears happy & content here.

Couldn't have asked for better care for my husband, staff always treated him with respect and he was always kept clean and shaven. My thanks go to all staff for the care they gave him and also, how they treated me which helped me cope. I sincerely thank them.

My mother recently passed away at Annabelle House Care Home after being a resident for four years, we are thankful the staff wanted to keep her at 'home' for her end-of-life care. They were compassionate, caring and all of her care was of a high standard. It was very apparent, on her final days, how much she was loved by the staff. We will always be grateful that she passed at home with people who genuinely cared for her.
During her residency, she was always well cared for and surrounded by love and laughter, even during the pandemic. The home manager always ensured a high standard of care throughout and although we could not visit, communication was fantastic.

Annabel House provides excellent care. My husband has been a resident there for almost three years. He has complex needs and can be very stubborn, but everyone on the staff is so good with him. My sister was a resident at Annabel House for two and a half years. I cannot speak highly enough of all the careers and managers. It is such a caring environment, and the focus is on the individual to ensure their needs are met. There is a family feel to Annabel House - relatives are welcomed and cared for alongside their loved ones. When my sister became very poorly, she remained at the House. Her final days were made as peaceful as possible, and we felt cared for too. Thank you, Annabel House, for all you did for my sister and us - you really are an amazing team.

Annabel House is a small and caring home. My father has been happy here for three and a half years. He has deteriorated over the last few years with dementia but receives the best care. The staff and management are very friendly and have always given their care and time to my father as well as myself when I visit, in what have been very testing times over the last two years. My husband spent the last few weeks of his life at Annabel House where he was treated with the utmost care and compassion, as indeed we were too. The staff were caring, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They took the time to get to know his likes and dislikes. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. The home was warm and clean and his room was always cosy and comfortable. I cannot recommend Annabel House strongly enough, except to say, should I need the services of a care home please take me to Annabel House

Dad arrived on 12/12/19 needing TLC and he has really received this over the last 10 months. When the inevitable happened the manager and all the staff rallied round for dad and all our family. I really can't thank them enough for their care particularly over the COVID lockdown.

The staff at Annabel House are constantly vigilant about my brother's needs and continue to care compassionately for him despite his erratic and sometimes very challenging behaviour. They understand him well and strive to bring out the best in him. I cannot praise the staff enough. The new activity coordinator has managed to encourage him to socialise having been a recluse for years.

My 96-year-old mum spent her last couple of months being cared for by the team at Annabel House. We are so grateful for the kindness and care she was shown during this time. We only wish that she had come to them sooner, as we feel that she would have appreciated everything that it has to offer....

The management and lovely staff were a great support to us, at what was a very difficult time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Annabel House.

My father was looked after very well by the Annabel House team. I found the care that they gave my late father was warm, friendly and well suited to his needs. He was able to live his final months out very well and despite his illness, he seemed very happy there.

Residents are very well cared for and the carers have a good rapport with them. Residents are treated with dignity and respect and family members are welcomed to Annabel House and involved in the decision-making process. The home is usually clean and tidy and residents are well presented. Entertainers work hard to keep the residents occupied. Sometimes communication between team/family could be improved. The food, plenty of choices and good standard.
