All self-funding residents admitted to a nursing room will be charged an amount equivalent to FNC (NHS-Funded Nursing Care) on top of the bed rate. This will be fully refunded following a successful FNC application.
We know how important it is to find the right care home for yourself or a loved one, and the fees and type of funding are a key part of this process. Therefore, for any questions you might have, please do not hesitate to contact our care home.
These prices are only a guideline, please contact Glebe House to find out the exact price for your requirements.
If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give this beautiful review. The team at Glebe House are well established and we have some people who have worked there since the day it opened so the team would still have remembered you I'm sure. Thank you for this lovely review of our home, Glebe House, the team will be very pleased to hear this feedback. I am glad to hear you feel we have looked after your parents so well, and look forward to continuing to meet the needs of your Dad.
Thank you for this lovely review. It has been a difficult year in terms of visiting, but it is great to have such good support for the actions we've taken to keep everyone safe. We are now in a position where we are allowing closer contact visiting for two people, and distanced visits for others, and we are hoping this is the first steps towards everyone being welcome back into the home and enjoying time together properly. We look forward to it.
Thank you for such a great lovely review, we are very proud of our staff and the care and kindness they all show, they will also be grateful to receive this feedback.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, it is great to know that we have been able to support your Dad to improve at Glebe House. I will make sure the team gets this feedback.
It is a shame that you feel you are able to leave a review like this which is clearly a vexatious move with no grounds. It has been an extremely challenging time working under incredibly difficult conditions during Covid-19. The restrictions which have been put in place due to Covid-19 have been hard for some relatives to come to terms with, but we do our absolute best to work with everyone and find the best solutions whilst maintaining the highest level of safety. The restrictions on visiting and other limitations have not been decided by us, but have been a part of government guidance, and I am sorry that you were not able to see around this to leave this unfounded review. We are a very caring home with highly professional staff who deserve better than this kind of feedback. I was very clearly able to demonstrate to you that the communication has been good on our side to you and your family and that the care delivered to your relative was of a very high standard.
Thank you so much for this great review. It has been extremely challenging for our staff working under current conditions, and they will be lifted up to hear that your experience has been so good with the care and service they provide. I will make sure your lovely message gets back to them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give this review. We always aim to deliver high-quality care, and it is great to hear that your experience has been so positive. I will make sure that the Glebe House team gets this message.

My Name is Natalia Wrzosek and I’m a Nurse Manager at Glebe House. I started my journey with Bristol Care Homes in 2018 as a Deputy Manager and progressed to a Nurse Manager in December 2021.
Originally hailing from Poland, I relocated to the United Kingdom in 2011 to pursue my nursing career. Motivated by a desire to make a difference in the healthcare field, I have focused my efforts on developing my skills in leadership and management.
What I enjoy the most about my role at Glebe House is that work can be dynamic and diverse, offering various challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. Each resident has unique needs and preferences, and you will encounter a wide range of situations. This variety keeps the job interesting and allows you to continually develop new skills and adapt to different circumstances.
I am deeply passionate about my work and the impact I can make in the lives of patients and their families.
I am proud to be a working mum to my young son and Bristol Care Homes has supported me with a role that provides great work and life balance.
My name is Nathan and I joined the Bristol Care Homes team at the beginning of this year, 2024. I have the privilege of working alongside Natalia at Glebe House as the Deputy Nurse Manager.
I am originally from Bristol and have never strayed from the village I grew up in, Almondsbury. Much of what drew me to Glebe House was the way it resembled many of the things that I love about my own home, community, and upbringing.
Before joining Bristol Care Homes I spent the majority of my career working within acute medicine, predominantly in various Emergency Departments and specialising in Resuscitation and Education. Alongside this, I have also served eight years with the British Army as a nurse.
With two children at home, and a small holding to maintain, I was looking for a new challenge in which I could utilise my clinical and managerial experience whilst supporting a busy home life. And this brought me to join the beautiful family at Glebe House.
Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, surfing and music. I am also informed regularly that I spend far too much time on, or beside a rugby pitch. I am desperately passionate about farming, sustainability, and the environment; I aim to instil many of my green/eco ideas within Glebe House.
