Visiting my mother. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the floor in her room wasn't very clean, dust in the corners, small pieces of food and crumbs under the bed and old news papers and a used tea plate on the bed side table also a bathroom cabinet which had, somehow, fallen off the wall two weeks ago and broken, was still on the floor waiting to be replaced.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding the staff team. It is very much appreciated. I note your comments about the cleanliness of your Mother's room and sincerely apologise that we fell short on this. I have spoken to our housekeeping team and addressed this. We value this input so we can improve the service we provide. Thank you once again for your review.

We were so lucky to place mum & dad into East Street earlier this year. It was a pleasure dealing with sarah & gina from the start, they made the whole process comfortable for us. We always came away feeling they are both well looked after, Rooms are good, entertainment excellent and the staff very attentive.
I am tempted to reserve my-self a place for 10 years time lol.

I highly recommend East Street to anyone finding their selves in the same position as we did earlier this year.

Whenever I go and visit my father he seems to be very clean and happy. At all times the staff are very polite, helpful and caring. A special mention must go to the member of staff who does your social media page. It makes me feel good to see my father enjoying the activities.

My dad has been in the home for 3 months. He has settled well considering and that is solely down to the staff and management. Everyone is kind, caring, polite, friendly and respectful to my dad and us his family. The activities team are so fantastic and he is included in everything. The staff really care and Dad always has the best care and support from everyone. The team are led by an approachable and caring manager and the home is very clean and well looked after. My mum is 100% better living at Eastleigh than the final years she had in the family home. She is eating better and looks so much better in herself. She is treated with respect and dignity, as I am myself when I visit. Thank you everyone at Eastleigh East Street.

The care mum was shown by carers and all the staff at Eastleigh has been outstanding. I highly recommend this care home; the staff are attentive and treated mum with love and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble at anytime in her two year stay. Every effort was made to give her the individual care package she required to ensure she was comfortable, and felt loved at a time when the family could no longer manage. At every weekly visit family were always made to feel welcomed into the home too. We felt mum was in very safe hands. Thank you Eastleigh Team.

My experience after 7 years with a relative in care at Eastleigh Care Home. The staff are always helpful and have a positive attitude if there is a problem it will be addressed and resolved. The home itself is very welcoming to visitors with good activities available for those who wish to join in. There is genuinely a sense that all who work there care about the residents and their families.

The staff at Eastleigh Care Home, from the top lady to the cleaners, show great understanding of the needs of elderly and mentally infirm people. They have the kindness and patience of a saint, which obviously reflects their training. There is a cohesive atmosphere where everyone seems to be working from the same hymn sheet! They are friendly and helpful to each other as well as the residents. It has a family atmosphere. Activities are numerous and varied and the care staff seem to enjoy and enthuse even the most disabled to join in. As a frequent visitor to my husband, I too am treated with respect and dignity, yes, even love. Have made many friends of residents and families, which Eastleigh encourages. In many institutions, items 'go missing'.

Since my brother has been admitted in September of 2023 as a resident at Eastleigh we have all been overwhelmed by the welcome care and kindness from all the team. My brother is so happy and we are so relieved to see how well he has settled in. It is truly a home-from-home in the very best one would wish for. God Bless them all.

Moving my mother to a care home was a difficult decision for my brother and me. She was already in her 90s.
My mother has now been a resident at the Eastleigh Care Home for over two years. She is well, happy, and has flourished.
She has gained weight and enjoys the activities. She is settled and enjoys life. The care staff are kind, and known to me by name - her individual idiosyncrasies are catered for and physically she is well looked after. All care staff are professionals and I am kept updated on any issues relating to Mum’s health. Thank you to the two members of staff reception who are worthy of a particular mention. I live a couple of hundred miles away and still work so visits are not as frequent as I would like however, a member of staff arranges a weekly video call so that Mum and I can chat and laugh together.
The video calls, supplemented by my brother's visits, are invaluable and have made the whole set-up work for us as a family.

Overall, I feel the care given at Eastleigh is exceptional.

At Eastleigh Care Home, over the past year, my husband has been treated with kindness, politeness, care and respect. He acknowledges that the staff listen to him and takes time to get to know him. They are willing to continue to encourage him to take part in activities, despite the fact that the answer is generally negative. As a visitor to the home, I have always received a warm welcome and the caring staff will take time to say hello and also make me feel very welcome.

Both my parents were residents at Eastleigh Care Home, my father for 3 months, my mother for five years. Throughout their time there they were treated with kindness, care and respect with their wishes and dignity always born in mind. Their end of life treatment was carried out with great care and compassion. The staff communicated with us regularly and when needed and always welcomed us when we visited.
