Funding & Fees
Weekly Charges per Person
At Edenmore Nursing Home, we understand that no two people are the same. Everyone is unique, with their own preferences, needs and lifestyle, and we believe their care should reflect that. Because of this, our fees are tailored to each person and their individual requirements.
This personalised approach continues after someone moves in. We understand that people’s needs can change over time, and their care and support may need to change with them. If this affects their fee, we will take the time to explain what has changed and talk everything through openly, clearly and sensitively with them and the people closest to them.
The prices listed are therefore a guide. To arrange a personal assessment, please use the call or email buttons above to contact our support team.

Visiting
- As part of their household model of care, they don’t believe in having set visiting hours – you should be able to visit your relatives or friends whenever you like, just as you would if they were living in their own home. You are welcome to visit day and night, and the team encourage you to feel comfortable and treat it as an extension of your loved one’s home. They recommend calling in advance so they can make sure that it doesn’t clash with any trips out or doctors appointments.

I can honestly say we see him happy, settled and very well cared for. The staff are attentive with him and all residents and answer our questions. The food and tasty treats (mostly home made it seems) are always good. Thank you to the team.

We know moving into a care home after a hospital stay can be a big change for everyone involved, so it means a lot to hear that the team have helped make that transition a positive one. We'll also make sure your kind comments about the homemade food and treats are passed on to the kitchen team too!
Thank you again from all of us.

My first impression (like everyone else's) is that you're in a well secured building because every door is locked, by keypad lock. You only come to realise the reason for this when your own mother tries to go walk abouts, thinking she is in a supermarket, hairdressers or visiting a spa.
Being that every resident here has some form of dementia you soon realise the staff all have patience like no one else. They are kind, softly spoken, respectful and as I've said before patient.
Much as I want my mum to have her independence (as does she sometimes) she is not in a position to look after herself, unfortunately this is the best place for her, with the very kind staff.
Basically if you or your relative/friend is suffering from dementia, I would recommend this residence.
Dear Steven, thank you so much for your review - feedback like this is so meaningful for the team. We really appreciate your kind words.

My father was placed at Edenmore in 2022 after his dementia meant that he could no longer safely stay in his own home. I was apprehensive at first but any concerns I had were quickly dispelled. The staff were friendly and welcoming, showing us around the home and making sure he was settled before I...
Throughout his time there, he was well looked after and treated with dignity and respect, and he was happy in his surroundings. Residents were considered to be family members and looked after in that manner. A wide range of activities were arranged to entertain and keep residents engaged (including, on one visit, a "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" where staff dressed as characters from "Alice in Wonderland" which was a sight to behold!), and they would regularly share photographs and updates with us. If there were any concerns they would call me immediately to let me know. The staff and manager at Edenmore are second to none and I am glad my father was so well looked after during his final years.
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate it - the whole team will be thrilled to receive such valued feedback. Kindest regards

I booked my mother with Dementia in for one week for respite costing £1600 plus £75 for paperwork. I was hoping that in her time there she would be quite active as she normally lives alone. The entrance had a long ramp for her to walk up with assistance from my husband and her stick past a skip. We were shown to the communal kitchen and she sat down with a cup of tea and we left her chatting away. She was aware of her surroundings. On Monday and Friday, I called and was told she was doing well and settling in quite well. We came to pick her up the following Sunday. She was supposed to be ready to leave. We were taken to 2nd floor and she was in the hall slumped in a chair and quite confused and not wearing her own clothes. After looking around the home for her coat and wash back we went home. It would appear she has had little interaction and seems to have lost basic skills that she definitely had before she went in. Her normal carers are quite distressed by it. Wouldn't go back.

My 84-year-old father was depressed and stuck in his room, so a respite was recommended by his social worker. We managed to get him into Edenmore Nursing Home for 4 weeks when he arrived there he had a chest infection and was not eating very much. The staff at Edenmore welcomed him as a family...
So a very big thank you for getting my dad smiling and laughing again, it is such a relief to be reassured that he is in very good hands.
Thank you with all our hearts.

We had to move quickly to get my mum into Edenmore, due to her condition of vascular dementia being too severe for the residential care that she was receiving. From the minute we needed help, support and good advice we got it. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful and the manager was very efficient as well as being very approachable and friendly. All of the staff are lovely and my mum settled literally from the first night - sleeping through for the first time for literally months. It was such a relief.
Thank you for such wonderful feedback, the team will be thrilled when they read this.

My father developed dementia and was admitted here over 2 years ago. His care has been excellent and professional. His illness became more progressive and the staff rose to the challenge until his passing away. Staff were caring and concerned for his welfare at all times and even in the most trying times handled him with dignity and love. Communication with family members has always been good and information was always accurate and true. Five stars are not enough!
Good professionalism with all the work they do, they put the family members first.

I have the highest regard for the team at Edenmore. From the moment my father was transferred into their care, he has been treated with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. They have taken time to get to know and understand him as an individual and have also welcomed me into their 'family', keeping me updated on Dads health and disposition each time I visit and extending that care by offering refreshments, meals and giving me candid and transparent answers to any questions I may ask. The staff never know when I may visit and I am delighted to state that I have never witnessed a moment when all residents are not treated in the same respectful manner. It is unequivocally demonstrated that the staff truly care about their family member's wellbeing. The Evolve Group has been especially understanding as I try to establish LPA for my father and have shown me greatly appreciated compassion in a truly difficult and emotional situation. Thank you Edenmore, for everything you do.
