My Mother in law entered Havencroft on 1/3/2017. Right from the 1st day she settled in lovely. The staff was amazing with her. She helped staff water the patio flowers which she loved. The activities was 1st class, especially for my mother in law who had Dementia. We couldn't have chosen a better Home for her. The whole of the staff from management to cleaners are all amazing. They all make the time to speak to residents. The love & care at Havencroft keep my mother in law happy for the 9yrs she lived there. We visited 2 homes before Havencroft & we couldn't believe it when we visited Havencroft. Right from entering we new this was the home for us to leave our loved one. My mother in law passed peacefully away in February 2026 after spending 9 wonderful years at Havencroft. The whole family just can't say enough to thank all the staff from the top down for 9 wonderful years of love & care they gave to our loved one. Top class Nursing Home can't fault anything right down to amazing food

My partner was resident in Havencroft for just over a year. He had been in another home for respite and his daughter and I visited others prior to his arrival at Havencroft. The minute we entered the premises and met the staff we knew that would be the place for our much loved one and we were not wrong. My partner was so well cared for by all the staff regardless of their official role everyone helped out. One never had a sense of hierarchical designation but always a sense of being cared for in a family situation. My partner even had his own herb patch to tend though health did not enable him to do much of the tending. We felt that our loved one received the very best of care and attention and are so very grateful to all the members of staff who looked after him with such tenderness during his final year. Could not have asked for a better home.

Many thanks for the wonderful review, I will pass on the kind comments to the staff. It was a pleasure to look after your partner for the time we knew him - he will be missed as well as the rest of the family. We will continue to maintain the lovely herb patch on behalf of you all!

My mother-in-law was only at Havencroft for a few weeks, but during that time, we couldn't fault the care she received and felt that communication between us and the staff was excellent. We would like, as a family, to thank the manager and the whole team who welcomed us into the Havencroft community and took such good care of my mother-in-law. She was really happy to be there, and we were comforted to know that she was being so well cared for and was safe. Our thanks go to the whole Havencroft team.

My husband was a resident at Havencroft for 13 months before his passing this week.
As a family, we cannot praise the staff and manager enough for their care and attention to my husband. There was always a warm welcome for us and a genuine interest by carers to learn about their residents.

The carers had so many practical and person to person skills throughout his stay and we could not have asked for a better place for him to reside in. Thank you.

My father has been a resident of Havencroft for over a year now. Throughout this time the staff have shown care, understanding and patience. My father has settled in well. The staff are kind and friendly whatever their role. I have great piece of mind that he is receiving a great standard of care.

I just want to thank all the carers and nurses, at Havencroft Care Home for the most wonderful way they handled the sudden death of my husband from a massive stroke. The efficiency, and genuine kindness you all had when looking after him, during his stay, and also me and my daughter, when we arrived within 20 minutes. We felt no-one could have been more caring and respectful. I was so glad to know that he was not alone and that the carer who held his hands must have been such a comfort to him, I had hoped he would be able to return for more respite, and maybe become a permanent resident.

Just a brief note to say a big and sincere thank you to you all for the care, attention and support you gave to my mother during her short stay at Havencroft Care Home in 2021. The efforts you made ensured that her final months were spent in a friendly, caring and comfortable environment where she felt secure but best of all happy. On the few occasions when she left the home she was more than pleased to return to what she now referred to as home. Both the Havencroft staff and the home itself are a credit to your profession and somewhere you should all be extremely proud of.

Once again a heart felt thank you.

I'd like to thank everybody at Havencroft for the excellent standard of care that you have all given my mother this year since her arrival in January. You seem to have coped extremely well with all the extra burden created by Covid, and the atmosphere has always seemed safe, discreet, thoughtful and considerate. As a staff you seem at ease with residents and with each other, a really good team full of expertise and led by a friendly, efficient and hands-on manager. Visiting has always been made as easy as possible, and you were especially kind and generous in the celebrations of my mother's 100th birthday. She has had the best possible support, and it is hard to imagine a better choice of care home in the local area. It has been really good to get to know you all, your work is very much appreciated.

I have found Havencroft Nursing Home to be the ideal nursing home for the full-time care that my wife requires. The home is accessible at any, and all times. I have found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming and always willing to help out when needed. Residents are treated with dignity and a smile and encouraged to engage with other residents and the many activities and events the home provides. There are open days where relatives and friends can come and get involved in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. My wife has a lovely bedroom with en suite facilities with lovely views out over the countryside that is always comfortable and clean and large enough to be able to move about in. Mealtimes are very relaxed with nice background music in a large communal dining room. The meals are very good, being hot, plentiful and varied. Overall myself and my family are extremely satisfied by the care provided by the staff and management of Havencroft Nursing Home.
