My brother has been at St Anthony's Care home since 2006. Although there have been many changes over the years, he has always been well cared for. He enjoys the daily activities. There are 2 special carers who care for my brother, Mithin and Dipun. All the carers are good, but these 2 obviously treat him well as he will allow them to help with anything

Moving my brother here , was the best decision we ever made . The Staff are on an entirely different level. They are incredibly kind, compassionate and treat him with immense dignity. They follow his Care plan precisely and perfectly, thus keeping him safe . They keep him actively engaged, he used to lie in bed all day , depressed. Now he's up doing arts and crafts , enjoying the company of both residents and Staff , he's genuinely very happy. This wonderful team has given him his life back and I have my brother back . Well done all, we can't praise you enough.

The service provided at St Anthony's is amazing. The staff are always caring, supportive and accommodating to all residents' needs, including my dad's. They are also excellent at keeping families informed. Recently my dad became very unwell and they acted quickly by calling an ambulance. They contacted me straight away, kept me updated and even stayed with my dad at the hospital until I was able to get there. Knowing he wasn't alone meant so much to me. I would also like to compliment the chefs and catering staff. I had lunch with my dad on Father's Day and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and it honestly felt like we were in a restaurant rather than a care home, making the day even more special. Out of all the care homes my dad has been in, St Anthony's is by far the best. I honestly cannot find any faults and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent care for a loved one.

This place is awful, management lie. Meds given to suit their needs. My son was not bathed, lying in bed until 12 o'clock in a bed full of faeces and urine. Many occasions staff, 3 of them eating cake, talking very loudly in his room and totally ignoring him. There's so much to write but the one...
This place is awful, management lie. Meds given to suit their needs. My son was not bathed, lying in bed until 12 o'clock in a bed full of faeces and urine. Many occasions staff, 3 of them eating cake, talking very loudly in his room and totally ignoring him. There's so much to write but the one thing I will say this place is dangerous. Reported to the council many times and about other residents, even staff have expressed how terrible this place is and how management are terrible. Avoid avoid avoid.

They do everything possible to look after and care for residents; they work very hard to make St Anthony’s a home from home with a real family feel.
