We are extremely grateful to everyone at John Masefield House for the care, patience and compassion they show my sister. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to other families looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

Our son has been resident for four months. He has been warmly welcomed and made to feel this is his home and the other residents his new friends. The management have been really supportive, flexible and engage us as partners in a team that is collectively seeking the best quality of life for our son. Ideas and suggestions are welcome from us and there is an appetite to learn from us as the management and carers all consider we know our son best of all. The carers are kind, considerate and professional in their duties and make a genuine effort to provide services that support our son. The nursing staff take full responsibility for all medical issues, supported by a visit from a GP each Monday, and administer all the medications to professional standards. The activity centre provides variety and plenty of options and is well managed. The home is located in beautiful grounds which affords the opportunity of external activities or sitting outside plus walks down to the River Thame.

He has a lovely light airy room with a river view. Food is lovely and always available to visitors too! They make a great cake!!! All staff from management to careers and activity workers are all very approachable and happy to chat. Residents are all lovely and all join in things together. I was worried about my son moving into a home as he's non verbal but I needn't of. My son is very happy and well looked after.

When our brother went to St Anthony's, we couldn't believe how well we were treated and how well David was looked after. All the staff are so lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. Throughout all the pain and suffering there is a sort of happy feeling of contentment with the residents which the staff give to them. I really can't say enough of how wonderful my brother is looked after with tender, loving care, that is for sure!

All the staff look after him very well. He has been in care since he was 5 years old (now 77) and St. Anthony's is the best of all his homes. Not only is his care very good but we are kept informed of his well being. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and make us feel welcome. David is now doing a lot more then he has ever done before.

My brother-in-law has been in care for most of his life and without a doubt St Anthony's is the best of his homes. All the staff from management to maintenance man are so friendly and helpful. His care is second to none. They really look after him well.

Overall, the staff make a real difference. It's clear that many of them are passionate about what they do and genuinely want the best for the residents. I couldn't be happier!

I volunteer for a charity called Therapy Dogs Nationwide (TDN) and do a one-two-one with a resident as well as quick meet-ups with others. I have visited several care homes but St Anthony's is by far the most welcoming and appreciative. They also offer amazing activities for the residents who all have complex neurological challenges. I have met many of the staff and they are all happy, helpful kind people

The staff are very friendly, helpful and look after my son very well. The food is excellent; it's clean and I am very happy with the whole set-up.

My brother has been at St Anthony's Care home since 2006. Although there have been many changes over the years, he has always been well cared for. The care staff are dedicated to their work and always have time to stop and share a few words with residents. My brother is very happy here. The home is clean and decorated nicely. He enjoys the daily activities. There are 2 special carers who care for my brother, Mithin and Dipun. All the carers are good, but these 2 obviously treat him well as he will allow them to help with anything

The service provided at St Anthony's is amazing. The staff are always caring, supportive and accommodating to all residents' needs, including my dad's. They are also excellent at keeping families informed. Recently my dad became very unwell and they acted quickly by calling an ambulance. They contacted me straight away, kept me updated and even stayed with my dad at the hospital until I was able to get there. Knowing he wasn't alone meant so much to me. I would also like to compliment the chefs and catering staff. I had lunch with my dad on Father's Day and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and it honestly felt like we were in a restaurant rather than a care home, making the day even more special. Out of all the care homes my dad has been in, St Anthony's is by far the best. I honestly cannot find any faults and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent care for a loved one.

Moving my brother here , was the best decision we ever made . The Staff are on an entirely different level. They are incredibly kind, compassionate and treat him with immense dignity. They follow his Care plan precisely and perfectly, thus keeping him safe . They keep him actively engaged, he used to lie in bed all day , depressed. Now he's up doing arts and crafts , enjoying the company of both residents and Staff , he's genuinely very happy. This wonderful team has given him his life back and I have my brother back . Well done all, we can't praise you enough.

The 5 star i gave here is not enough because I think this home deserve more. The is good, clean, no bad odour, staff are welcoming and polite. I'm so glad my sister in law was well taken care off. And thier food is amazing. Thanks guys

My husband has been in St Anthony's since nov 2025 The care is excellent everyone is very friendly and helpful, they try to make it home from home for the residents . You can visit anytime you don't need to make appointments just turn up. The food is excellent, you can eat with your loved ones if you wish. I can't fault this Care Home,

I pleased to say she is now back in her own home but we would have no hesitation in returning to Alexander House in the future if required.

I just wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff for the care, help and support during my time at White Windows. The staff do a fantastic job and the care I received was fantastic.

The manager has created a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. The team are compassionate, professional, and a true credit to Valorum.
