Thank you for the kind and supportive words regarding our care of your mum. We are sorry we no longer have the use of our own minibus but we continue to explore other means of ensuring our residents' links with the community continue, and outings are still taking place, but have been limited during winter. We are continually looking to improve our means of ensuring our resident's well-being remains the highest they can be, especially through our activities program. Hopefully, you will be able to continue to take part in these across the coming months. Any input you may have regarding your mum's preference would be most welcomed.
Thank you for your kind words; as you know we are constantly looking at ways to improve our environment and we are currently waiting for the arrival of new chairs and soft furnishings to help with this. All your opinions and suggestions are greatly welcomed and we look to action them where we can.
We are very upset and concerned that you felt your mum's stay was not as you would have expected and offer our sincerest condolences to you and your family at this sad time, as well as our apologies for your concerns raised. We take pride in our end of life care delivery and have not received any concerns regarding this in the past, though we fully understand that everyone's experiences are different. Although this will not offer you any immediate comfort, we do not disclose intimate details regarding resident's care to callers over the telephone as we cannot confirm who they are, this is standard practice within the healthcare industry. Visiting at such delicate times is encouraged and welcomed, again I apologize if you feel these times were lacking in any way. Please be assured that we take all concerns seriously and aim to use feedback in a positive manner to continuously improve our service and care to our residents, your concerns and feelings will be shared with the team.

I am very sorry that your mum sustained a fall during her short stay with us at Brookview and for the distress this has caused to her and also to you as her family. While we take great care to put systems in place to minimise the risk of such an incident, sadly, despite our best efforts, we are unable to totally eliminate the risk that occasionally an individual in our care may fall and sustain such an injury. We take seriously any concerns raised and will thoroughly investigate what has happened in this case ensuring that any possible improvements are identified and put into place
