London Road Specialist Nursing Home

My brother who has dementia is a full time resident there. The staff look after him very well and have no complaints at the level of care he receives. The staff call me if there is anything they need to inform about. The home is clean and all the staff are very lovely. Would recommend this care home to anyone. I don't live local so its reassuring for me to know my brother is cared for and well looked after at all times.

Mum has been a resident for four and a half years. We have never had a concern for her care. The home is always clean and tidy. The staff are extremely warm and friendly and it almost feels like mum is being cared for by an extended family. We are always kept informed and if mum is unwell she is seen by the doctor swiftly. The physio linked to the home is fabulous. As a family we would have no problem recommending London Road as a wonderful nursing home.

The home itself is comfortable without being luxurious. In my opinion any shortfalls in this area are outweighed by the standard of care.

On most occasions when I visit my sister I find the staff cheerful and friendly. I feel able to ask the nurse manager anything I need to know. Sometimes staff will ring me to inform me to changes to my sister or to ask if I would like to have routine injections/vaccinations given to her. I am grateful for the physio and activity input that I feel enhances my sisters life.

My sister is well cared for. The staff work hard and are busy, but always happy to answer questions. They do not hesitate to inform me if my sister's health condition changes. The care and kindness of the staff are excellent.

My friend is very well looked after considering his needs, and I am sure it applies to all of the people being cared for.

My experience with the London Road Specialist Nursing Home is very good. This place feels like my second home. The staff is always friendly and treats me like a family. I am impressed by the caring atmosphere and the dedication. I will always be grateful to everyone here for everything they do.

The care given to our son has been very good. All staff are very willing to listen and explain and very friendly. Communication between myself and staff is always very good.

We visit our son three times per week and are always welcomed by friendly staff. If we have any questions staff are always on hand to give an answer. Our son is very happy to be here and loves all of his meals. The home is very clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and always speak to him if they are passing his room. We as his parents are very happy he is here.

The home is very friendly and welcoming. If asked any questions, the staff are happy to help. They give me any information I need and keep me updated on my mum's day to day activities.

The personnel are outstanding, they are kind, extremely diligent, and do a terrific job. Every time I enter those doors, I can see my husband is well-maintained. The patients in the care facility receive excellent attention from the nurses and carers. Having such carers and personnel is a delight.

Our mother had the best possible care, love and attention. Went in for roughly a week and was there until the end, three years later. Excellent Care Home.

I am very happy with the care provided to my mother. She seems very comfortable given her physical and mental condition. My mother has been in the home for a number of years and I have never had cause to complain. The staff are always friendly and caring.

My mother spent three years at the home and, during that period, received the most caring and loving attention possible. There was genuine involvement from the nurses, carers, caterers and all members of staff who came to know her and our family are grateful and privileged to have known them.
