Ashford house looked after my mum with kindness, respect and dignity. All of the staff were tremendous, cheerful, kind, diligent. Our family could genuinely not have wished for a better experience for my mum and ourselves for the couple of months that she was at Ashford House. We were always kept up
to date and consulted about mum's care and any minor concerns we had were addressed immediately.
Reply from Natasha Cunningham, Registered Manager at Ashford HouseThank you for your kind words about us at Ashford House, we do miss Christine dearly.

The care home provided everything that my mother needs, a warm and friendly home, and staff always on hand if needed. It's also mice to see the local community also taking an active part during special times in the year. My mum is very happy here and has made one or two friends. Definitely a home from
home feel about the place. Definitely excellent value.

Overall, I am very pleased with the way my friend is looked after. Staff treat her sympathetically and make time to talk to her. The meals I have seen are excellent with a good choice. My friend's room is spacious and comfortable, and everywhere is clean and hygienic. I am greeted and treated will by
staff and management are always helpful and willing to listen.

Hi, my mum joined you last March. She was in a poor state after losing her husband. Since joining you, she is now putting weight on, eating, sleeping, and has made friends. All the staff are lovely, and the food is fabulous. She knows she's really lucky to have got a place at Ashby Lodge. Thank you
so much for looking after her, we really appreciate all you do on a daily service.

My mother has been resident at the home since the end Sept 2025. Overall we are very satisfied with the home, excellent caring staff, the cleanliness and hygiene, provision of meals, refreshments and entertainment for the residents. Our situation is difficult because we live abroad and no family to
visit. We are only able to visit a couple of times per year. The staff do not seem to appreciate the problems that this causes without regular updates. After saying that, they do answer the phone when we call. A suggestion, moving forward for cases like our own, is there should be something in place such as regular weekly e-mail / phone call updates, regarding changes - This could include an update on the general health and welfare of the resident, information following doctor visits to include diagnosis, medicine, and steps to deal with it. The other petty annoyance is we have to chase for receipts for fees, and monies held in the safe. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home
Reply from Angela Riley, Registered Manager at Aston ManorThank you for the kind words offered about us and the great care we provide at Aston Manor. We will take your suggestion on board and look at implementing something in place.

On most occasions when I visit my sister I find the staff cheerful and friendly. I feel able to ask the nurse manager anything I need to know. Sometimes staff will ring me to inform me to changes to my sister or to ask if I would like to have routine injections/vaccinations given to her. I am grateful
for the physio and activity input that I feel enhances my sisters life.

My dad has been in Ashton Court for over 2 years now, and he absolutely loves it. The care staff are amazing with him, the care is outstanding, they are very caring and helpful, and the management are also very good and helpful too. The food is always beautifully presented. They make us feel so welcome
when we visit, and they are all like family to us. I would recommend Ashton Court to anyone who might need a care home in the future, with many thanks to you all!

My mum suffers from dementia and struggled at first to settle in the care home. She has now settled, and her eating has got better. The staff seem to be very caring and hard-working. The manager is always on hand to answer any queries. It was a hard decision for the family to let mum go into a care
home. It has turned out to be the best thing for her, and I thank the staff for their care and support.

My dad has been living at A S Care for just over a year. He has always been treated with dignity and respect, even though he has advanced dementia. He seems happy and settled there. As a family, we feel he is very well cared for, and the staff are always helpful, informative and very welcoming. The
home has a real family feel with both residents and staff, and events are organised for families to meet at summer fetes or Christmas events and encouraged to share experiences. I would fully recommend A S Care to others who need care provided for their loved ones.

What I appreciate and value most about this care home is the staff. From management and across the whole team, they see to genuinely care for the welfare and wellbeing of the residents, and for each other. This makes for a good atmosphere in which to reside, work and visit. Seniors and management are
approachable and responsive to any queries. I always feel comfortable leaving my mother there, knowing she is safe, happy and valued. I visit very regularly and this assessment is consistently the case. These are things that money can't buy, but make all the difference. People matter here.

We as a family, cannot express our gratitude to everyone at Ashfield House. All staff are so friendly and supportive. We are always welcomed with a smile. If my dad is having a bad day, there is always a hug and a cup of tea.
This was the first home offered for my dad and initially we wanted somewhere
closer to home, but the service has received over the few years the little extra miles has been so worth it.
