A calm, supportive environment which enabled my dear wife to pass peacefully away with care and dignity. I cannot speak too highly of the staff who showed immense kindness and compassion at the most difficult time. Ashford House, Rearsby has been the perfect home for my late wife and I cannot recommend it too highly.

All the staff at Ashby Lodge are helpful and caring and helped to make what was a stressful time having to put my Step Dad in respite an easier experience for all of us. We found all the staff a pleasure and felt happy knowing he was in their care. Nothing was too much trouble and Dad was treated very well during his stay.

I honestly can't speak highly enough of the care my nan receives here. From the moment you walk through the door, there is such a warm, welcoming and positive atmosphere. The staff are incredibly attentive to Nan's individual needs. What means so much to our family is that they genuinely take the time to get to know Nan. We especially love when families are invited to join in. I would particularly like to mention Tariq. He gives Nan her medication, but his care goes far beyond that. He takes the time to talk to her, listens patiently and treats her with genuine warmth and respect. He also makes our whole family feel so welcome, which means more to us than he probably realises. That warmth is evident throughout the whole team. Every member of staff we meet is friendly, approachable and welcoming. From what we observe when visiting, the same kindness, patience and commitment are shown not only to Nan but to all the residents. Thank you to you all

We find the residents well cared for. The staff show extraordinary dedication kindness and professionalism. Everyone works hard and the residents are content and well cared for. The activities provided are excellent and it is evident in the involvement of the residents. The home is impeccably clean + there is a pleasant atmosphere.

Gwen seems very happy in Ashview. The staff are all very good, very respectful. Ashview is always very clean.

From the moment our relative arrived, we knew they were in safe hands. The care, kindness, and compassion shown by every member of staff were simply outstanding. They treated our loved one as an individual, with dignity, respect, and genuine affection. Sadly, our relative has since passed away, but it gives us great comfort to know their final months were spent surrounded by people who truly cared. The staff consistently went above and beyond, always taking the time to offer a reassuring smile, a gentle word, or an extra act of kindness. To every member of the team, thank you. What you do each day makes an immeasurable difference to the lives of residents and their families. We will never forget your kindness and are forever grateful.

A lovely safe, secure, home, fab staff. I know my mum is being cared for and looked after with her health needs in a lovely environment. Communication is good with staff and welcoming every time I visit my mum.

I couldn't be happier with the care my grandma receives here. The staff are genuinely attentive and it shows in the small things - she's always up and in the living room never just left in bed, she's, engaged and well dressed. It's clear the team really cares, not just professionally but personally. Knowing she's safe and well looked after means I can finally sleep at night. Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful care you give her!!

My husband has been in Ashfield House for a number of years and our family have only gratitude for the way he has been looked after. He has had amazing care through good moments and bad. The home, staff, food etc are all top quality. We can only say thankyou for looking after him so well.

My relative seems settled and happy. He doesn't get angry as much as in previous homes. He enjoys going out for walks. I think the home is a happy home, relaxed and comfortable for clients with different needs. Just one thing - I travel quite far to see my relative - an offer of a cup of tea would be nice.

Overall experience ok, staff are very good very friendly and appear to have a good relationship with the residents, food always smells good and a deccent menu but not actually seen the meals constant tea + biscuits, there doesnt seem a great deal of entertainment that would probably be only critisim

the kitchen staff are nice and polite and will always make sure there is something i like to eat

My brother who has dementia is a full time resident there. The staff look after him very well and have no complaints at the level of care he receives. The staff call me if there is anything they need to inform about. The home is clean and all the staff are very lovely. Would recommend this care home to anyone. I don't live local so its reassuring for me to know my brother is cared for and well looked after at all times.
