As a family, we are always made to feel very welcome by staff who are very friendly. Mum is treated with respect and is well looked after. Her room is cleaned daily and well maintained. All the communal areas are kept very clean and are very homely and comfortable. Communication regarding Mum's care is forthcoming, and we are kept up to date regularly. We are very satisfied and feel very reassured about Mum's care.

My father has lived here for 3 1/2 years, and I have always been very happy with the care he has received in this time. All the staff have always been very caring and helpful. Even now that he required palliative care, he has been able to stay here and be cared for rather than having to be moved to a nursing home. All of which I am very grateful for.

All caregivers are happy, polite and friendly. All caregivers treat mum with great respect and spend quality time with her, talking to her and keeping her clean & comfortable. Her room is always clean & tidy. The boss is lovely and goes above & beyond when mum is unwell & keeps our family informed when they have to involve doctors/any hospital stays. Mum receives regular position changes and regular pad changes. Her bedding is always clean & her room is always at the right temperature. The radio or TV is always left on for mum. We cannot fault the excellent care that mum receives.

Mum is cared for very well at Ashview House. All of the staff are pleasant and always have time to answer any questions we may have. The home is small so has a homely feel to it. Mum is well fed and enjoys the meals. As we leave on a Sunday, the lunch always smells amazing.

I found the service user content and well. She has gained weight and says she loves being there. She has no close relatives but enjoys her friends' visits. She is fond of Gemma, Ashad, Zahida and the cook. Though she relates well to all carers. The home is basic but spotless with a caring atmosphere.

The staff are all very friendly, caring and compassionate. The facilities are very homely, warm and spotlessly clean. My father has been a resident here for a few years now. He has severe dementia, is catheterized and he has recently become bedbound. His personal care has always been excellent. He always looks clean and is treated with dignity. He enjoys the food. We have no complaints and would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

Due to my mum having a fall the care and suooport provided by this care home was excellent. From being at my mum's side all the time, while awaiting for the ambulance. The standard of care is excellent, with staff always taking the time to understand individual needs, regardless of their position. The facilities are clean, comfortable and home made food.

We feel very fortunate to have found such a supportive and professional care home and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Overall Experience
Our good friend of many years has been at Ashview now for over a year. He doesn't have any family to support him, but we, his friends like to visit when we can. We have visited him in the evenings and in the mornings , and we always come away happy that he is being so well cared for. The standard of his personal care is really high, he looks so clean and well with extra attention to details such as his glasses and hair. He is warm and always comments on how good the food is. He wears nice clothes that have been bought on his behalf by the team. His over all health is the best it can be thanks to the care he is receiving.

At first we were concerned because the facilities appear quite basic, but look beyond that and you notice how clean everywhere is, with no corners cut. We think the staff are doing a very good job, we hope our friend has many more years there. It is so nice not having to worry about him living alone and struggling, especially at Christmas. Thank you.

Before my mother moved into Ashview House I was invited to see her bedroom and shown around the home by a friendly knowledgeable member of staff which was reassuring and allayed my concerns regarding my mother moving into the home. The manager has been very supportive to both my mother and me, very professional, caring and kind which also applies to all the staff.
