The care given to my sister over a very extended period of time has never been less than exemplary. She is incapable of self-help and has been kept warm clean and comfortable at all times and treat with care staff have always been communacative. I cannot praise them too much.

All the staff at Ashby Lodge are helpful and caring and helped to make what was a stressful time having to put my Step Dad in respite an easier experience for all of us. We found all the staff a pleasure and felt happy knowing he was in their care. Nothing was too much trouble and Dad was treated very well during his stay.

On the whole very happy with the care my relative receives.

I couldn't be happier with the care my grandma receives here. The staff are genuinely attentive and it shows in the small things - she's always up and in the living room never just left in bed, she's, engaged and well dressed. It's clear the team really cares, not just professionally but personally. Knowing she's safe and well looked after means I can finally sleep at night. Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful care you give her!!

My relative seems settled and happy. He doesn't get angry as much as in previous homes. He enjoys going out for walks. I think the home is a happy home, relaxed and comfortable for clients with different needs. Just one thing - I travel quite far to see my relative - an offer of a cup of tea would be nice.

Overall experience ok, staff are very good very friendly and appear to have a good relationship with the residents, food always smells good and a deccent menu but not actually seen the meals constant tea + biscuits, there doesnt seem a great deal of entertainment that would probably be only critisim

My wife has been in Aston Manor for one week, and I am pleased to say that she has settled in very well without anxiety or upset. I am pleased with the care she is receiving.

The staff look after her very well and are very caring towards her. If there are any issues/concerns no matter how small they will let us know immediately.

Hi, my mum joined you last March. She was in a poor state after losing her husband. Since joining you, she is now putting weight on, eating, sleeping, and has made friends. All the staff are lovely, and the food is fabulous. She knows she's really lucky to have got a place at Ashby Lodge. Thank you so much for looking after her, we really appreciate all you do on a daily service.

My mother has been resident at the home since the end Sept 2025. Overall we are very satisfied with the home, excellent caring staff, the cleanliness and hygiene, provision of meals, refreshments and entertainment for the residents. Our situation is difficult because we live abroad and no family to visit. We are only able to visit a couple of times per year. The staff do not seem to appreciate the problems that this causes without regular updates. After saying that, they do answer the phone when we call. A suggestion, moving forward for cases like our own, is there should be something in place such as regular weekly e-mail / phone call updates, regarding changes - This could include an update on the general health and welfare of the resident, information following doctor visits to include diagnosis, medicine, and steps to deal with it. The other petty annoyance is we have to chase for receipts for fees, and monies held in the safe. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home

I miss my wife so much, but I can be comforted that she is being well looked after. I truly appreciate and thank all the staff in what they do in the care home. Thank you!

Mum loves being at Ashby lodge all the staff are very kind and respectful with her mum loves the food and the activities and as made some lovely friends staff are very approachable and always make me welcome when I visit it gives me peace of mind knowing mum is happy there

The quality of care and attention my father receives continues to be exceptional. Thank you so much to the hard-working team at Ashby Lodge. My late mother also stayed in Ashby, and she loved the staff and all-around atmosphere. I appreciate the warm welcome I receive every time I visit my father.

The staff are mainly polite and most of the time treat residents with respect, the care home is always clean and feels homely. Sometimes the residents seem to be consistently left on their own which could possibly be a worry. Overall a great experience for the residents and the family members.

On the whole we are very satisfied re the care of my mother. The staff have cared well for her, recognising when she has been ill and needed medical attention. My mother seems to be happy here. The staff are always friendly and approachable. The only query I would have is there seems to have been an almost full change of management and staff, with no apparent reason or explanation.

Auntie always seems happy. Meals are nice. Auntie is always clean and the staff keep us well informed if she requires anything. I am happy with the home.

My mum has settled in really quickly into the home all thanks to the wonderful, caring and friendly staff. I have peace of mind knowing she is looked after so well. Laundry and food is excellent, rooms warm and cosy.

Over the period of ten days, my younger sister and I spent time in Ashby Lodge, visiting a particularly difficult sibling, which meant that we got real firsthand insight into the facility. We are pleased to say that we were very impressed! We found it to be warm and bright, (even in British weather) and very clean. We found the staff, to be professional, pleasant and compassionate. They treated all the patients with a lot of care and understanding and we could not have wished for a better situation for our sibling under the circumstances, thank you!

Staff always friendly. The home always nice and clean, staff play different games to entertain the residents. Sit in the garden when weather permits. Residents have choice in their meals. Auntie quite happy living here. Can't answer value as we don't pay the bill, another family member pays.
