I couldn't be happier with the care my grandma receives here. The staff are genuinely attentive and it shows in the small things - she's always up and in the living room never just left in bed, she's, engaged and well dressed. It's clear the team really cares, not just professionally but personally. Knowing she's safe and well looked after means I can finally sleep at night. Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful care you give her!!

Hi, my mum joined you last March. She was in a poor state after losing her husband. Since joining you, she is now putting weight on, eating, sleeping, and has made friends. All the staff are lovely, and the food is fabulous. She knows she's really lucky to have got a place at Ashby Lodge. Thank you so much for looking after her, we really appreciate all you do on a daily service.

The quality of care and attention my father receives continues to be exceptional. Thank you so much to the hard-working team at Ashby Lodge. My late mother also stayed in Ashby, and she loved the staff and all-around atmosphere. I appreciate the warm welcome I receive every time I visit my father.

On the whole we are very satisfied re the care of my mother. The staff have cared well for her, recognising when she has been ill and needed medical attention. My mother seems to be happy here. The staff are always friendly and approachable. The only query I would have is there seems to have been an almost full change of management and staff, with no apparent reason or explanation.

Over the period of ten days, my younger sister and I spent time in Ashby Lodge, visiting a particularly difficult sibling, which meant that we got real firsthand insight into the facility. We are pleased to say that we were very impressed! We found it to be warm and bright, (even in British weather) and very clean. We found the staff, to be professional, pleasant and compassionate. They treated all the patients with a lot of care and understanding and we could not have wished for a better situation for our sibling under the circumstances, thank you!

Staff always friendly. The home always nice and clean, staff play different games to entertain the residents. Sit in the garden when weather permits. Residents have choice in their meals. Auntie quite happy living here. Can't answer value as we don't pay the bill, another family member pays.

We are so pleased with Ashby Lodge. The management and all of the staff are excellent. My mum came during covid and all the staff helped her settle. She has been here over a year and nothing is too much trouble. The management and staff are a pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. Liaison is excellent and we are always welcome. We feel the care is excellent, just what anybody would want for their elderly parent. Many thanks to all from a son and daughter-in-law to the lovely staff.

He has been here for around three weeks, and the change in him is remarkable. He has been suffering from a skin rash, which was not being treated correctly, if at all, in the previous home. In this one, it has been cured in days. Five stars. The home is clean, and the staff are enthusiastic.

Mum became a resident in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic so our access to the home was very limited. However, we had lots of window visits and contact with the staff, whose priority at all times was the health and well-being of the residents. They lifted Mum's spirit and encouraged her in all aspects of her stay. She was always clean and well-groomed and told us she was very happy and that the staff were looking after her very well, and kept her occupied. I had no experience of what the food was like but Mum said it was fine. The garden could do with a lot of tender loving care and the bedrooms are basic but adequate.

Mum feels really safe at Ashby Lodge Residential Home. She says the staff really care. The staff generally are very helpful and accommodating. The exterior of the house could do with a re-paint and general tidy. Having said that, when leaves fell in Autumn, these were cleared up every day.
