Stonehouse Manor aims to provide the highest standards of care by treating every person using the service as an individual. Each person will have a person centred plan which provides information on their needs and know how they can meet those needs. These will be updated bearing in mind the expressed wishes of the person living at the home and will seek to make best use of the person living abilities. They will respect people's equality, diversity, human rights, dignity and personhood. Staff make a personal history and lifestyle profile for each individual and encourage families to be involved in this process by telling about what makes each resident special. Single rooms with en-suite will allow people space which encourages dignity and which can be personalized by the person occupying that room. They want bedrooms to be as individual as you are. Visiting hours are not restricted and staff encourage visits from young people. They have facilities for overnight stays for loved ones if the need arises. They will provide good nutrition by offering choices at mealtimes of wholesome foods which meet the needs and preferences of people living in the home.
