As a family, we can not extend our gratitude enough to the wonderful, caring staff of Holbeach Hospital, not only the care they have given to my mum, but how they included myself, husband and son too. They gave mum an extended life of seven quality months for us to enjoy and spend time with her. The last few days of her life were pain-free and very peaceful. A life well spent was made a beautiful ending by the care mum received, for which we will be forever grateful.
A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Holbeach Hospital for making Chris & my selves anniversary so special Lucy Mandy Julie & Caroline went above & beyond, all the staff are amazing & so helpful & friendly nothing is ever to much trouble for them & the hospital is so clean warm & accommodating. Thank you everyone Chris & Philomena Broome.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are rightly proud of our staff and the work that they do.
I cannot praise highly enough the care I had while in your hospital during my transitional stay. Every one of the staff that I came into contact with was so kind & pleasant - it was a pleasure to be cared for by them. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. My thanks & gratitude to all. Kind regards.
Commode bowls need looking at urgently.
Thank for your review, we will look at the issues you have raised.
The room was kept clean, staff caring and happy. My overall experience was good. Only complaint is not very good at communicating with my wife as I am a second stroke survivor and suffer from dysphasia and short term memory loss.
I was recently an immobile patient at Holbeach for two months. My room was an attractive, light room, I received excellent care and attention at all times from the happy, friendly staff. Many of them are outstanding and dedicated.
My mum came to Holbeach Hospital in Feb 25 and the care she received has been exemplary. Every member of staff I have met have been so kind and caring. Sadly it was end of life care but I couldn't have wished for mum to have been in a nicer environment, nothing was too much trouble. I will miss coming to see mum.
What a wonderful afternoon I had with my mum and dad who are both at Holbeach and East Elloe Hospital celebrating 80 years of VE Day. They were both teenagers at the time and really enjoyed sharing their memories and experiences. All staff went above and beyond to decorate the party room, commemorate and remember those individuals who served and for the residents to have a wonderful buffet party. Celebrations commenced watching the service on TV followed by a buffet tea party with hats and flags and all things red, white and blue. Residents continued with celebrations in the afternoon with a dedicated singer helping them to reminisce with all the old songs and with staff ensuring that everyone felt included and recognised. It will be a wonderful memory to keep. Thank you everyone.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hospice & with how much care my wife was given. The staff were so friendly & helpful.
My mother has been a full time resident since her stroke and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she receives. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive and clearly dedicated to their work. They have really got to know mum and she is always treated with care & dignity and compassion. She is most importantly safe and has a real sense of positive wellbeing. The home is well managed, clean, calm & reassuring. Over time I've seen a real improvement in her mood & engagement. It brings the whole family real peace of mind to know she's in such good hands.
Holbeach hospital took care of my friend who was taken ill very suddenly at age 45. My friend was only at Holbeach hospital for the last two weeks of his life, after a short but dignified battle with cancer. The staff was wonderful and caring, taking time into getting to know him and his needs. His room was clean and tidy with clean bed linen on at all times. The staff reassured my friend during the most stressful and hardest time of his life. They made is final journey that bit more bearable. They would contact me as my friend requested, when he was unable to do so. Holbeach hospital looked after him so very well. Nothing was to much trouble. Even when the end came, he was so looked after, cleaned and dressed to be picked up by the funeral director. Treated with dignity and respect from start to finish. Thank you.
My dad was here for about 4 months and they were absolutely fantastic with him, any concerns they had they would always ring straight away. Could not have asked for better people to look after him, while he was at the end of life he always looked clean, tidy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We very much appreciate your kind words.
My mother was transferred to this hospital from another hospital with their transition care process. Exemplary care was given to her by every member of the team which aided her successful recovery from a bad fall. Never having spent an overnight in a hospital before in her lifetime (aged 88) her experience at Holbeach Hospital/Care Home was faultless. She certainly appreciated everyone’s kindness and support which went above and beyond at all times of the day and night. (The meals were delicious and enjoyed fully which also aided recovery!) We would like to send a very big ‘thank you’ to each member of staff for giving my mother such a memorable and positive experience under her difficult circumstances.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we really appreciate your comments and will pass them on to the team.
Can not thank the staff enough for the excellent care they gave my mum in her last 2 weeks of life. We couldn't have asked for any more, from the managers, nursing and caring staff, all polite and friendly. We are so lucky to have this facility in the area.
Thank you so much for your very kinds words, we are very grateful for you taking the time to leave us a review.
When my father arrived at Holbeach hospital in June 2017, he was admitted as end-of-life. The care and dedication of the nurses and other caring staff was excellent, second to none and we couldn't have wished for better. Slowly, he was weaned off puree food and a catheter. He always looks clean and tidy, he also eats fresh cooked soft food. The home have a wide variety of activities that any/all residents can join in. Also, in the summer, weather permitting, some are taken out in the minibus to different events. I have no doubt without the staff's dedication he would not be with us today.
Thank you so much for you lovely review, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback
My dad has been in Holbeach Hospital for nearly a year and I could not ask for better care, friendship and support for him and myself. All levels of staff go above and beyond and it always feels like home from home.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the care home team, they not only look after the resident to a very high standard but take time to make sure the visitors are happy too. For me the care home is a place where I also feel safe as a Parkinson's sufferer visiting my friend, allowing my husband much-needed respite. So thank you to the manager and all the staff.

All staff are happy and caring when dealing with the residents, and the visitors are made very welcome. The residents are always smiling and happy. It's also nice to hear that the residents get to be able to choose to be able to be taken out, some of them, for a pint at their local.
Thank you so much for your review; it is very much appreciated.
I could never thank all the staff enough for what they did for my husband. He was in a motorcycle accident and was bedridden when he went to Holbeach. Oh my god, they worked wonders with him. Nothing was too much trouble for them - 24 hours a day, they were so kind to me and our three daughters. Amazing people; they are all angels. Thank you so much - amazing place.
Thank you so much for your very kind reviews; it is very much appreciated.

I qualified as a Nurse in 1986. Following my qualification, I worked as a Staff Nurse in a Surgical Ward with the NHS, before moving to Lincolnshire in 1992. I worked for a large national charity for 23 years, 12 of those as the Registered Manager, before being made redundant. I joined Holbeach Hospital in 2022 as Deputy Manager and was appointed as Manager in May 2023.

I started work at Holbeach Hospital in 2013 as a Care Assistant before going to train as a nurse and completing my nursing degree in 2020. I became Deputy Manager in 2023 and, in September 2025, became the joint Registered Manager.
