My nan was taken into Holbeach Hospital on an end-of-life bed at the beginning of November 23. The managers and the careers were all fantastic and welcoming to us all as a family, as well as the incredible care they gave to my nan; she managed to be discharged after 12 weeks and returned home, something we never imagined would happen. Sadly, she has now passed away, but without the care and compassion of Holbeach Hospital, we would never have been able to spend the time we did with our nan.
Thank you so much for your lovely review; we will pass on your kind words on to the staff.
The hospital is clean and tidy, and the choice of food is very good.
There is a great selection of activities going on in the day room during the day.
Thank you so much for your kind words; we will pass your comments on to the staff.
Excellent care and friendly welcome. We are very lucky to have this facility in Holbeach to look after people at the end of their lives. We couldn’t have asked for more. It is like a family and is a very special place close to many people’s hearts.
Thank you so much for your review and kind words. We will pass on your comments on to our staff.
A lovely group of nurses and staff. Always friendly and approachable and willing to update me on how my mum is doing. I feel she's well looked after and cared for in all areas. The nurses always make my mum smile when they enter the room and take the time to talk and make conversation with her. I always speak highly to friends regarding Mum's care. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, we very much appreciate you taking the time to submit a response.
The staff do a great job of caring for my mother. They are all friendly and are happy to answer any questions you may have. The place is always clean and tidy. I really cannot thank them enough.

We are so glad Mum's final years were at Holbeach Hospital. We believe it was the best home for Mum. The staff are Angels without wings and we will be forever grateful to them.
Thank you so much for your review and kind words, it is much appreciated.
Long may it continue.
Thank you for your kind comments, we are so happy that your friend is happy and enjoying her time with us.
A wonderful home and facility for Holbeach to have, their care and compassion at end of life is wonderful, we would not have wanted our dad to go anywhere else. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the care they give means you can rest knowing your loved one is well looked after.
My mother has been at Holbeach & East Elloe Hospital Nursing Home for 1 year and is very happy there. Her room is large and comfortable. The food gets rave reviews, excellent choices and much variety. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who have brought her out of her loneliness and depression with their many kindnesses. The activities coordinators have encouraged her to join in the many activities and take her out on lots of outings. She also has regular visits to the in-house hairdresser and chiropodist who help her well-being. All in all, a well-run, happy home with wonderful staff.
Thank you for your kind words, we are glad that your mother is happy in our care and enjoying her time with us.
My mum came into the hospital on a short stay due to breaking her arm. The staff were very friendly and always helpful in my mum's care. Also, the physical therapist got my mum walking better than when she went into hospital. So a big thanks to you all. She’s doing really well at home.
Thank you for your review; we appreciate your kind words and are glad your mum is doing so well at home.
The staff cannot do enough for the residents. They are always putting something on to keep them entertained and serving a lovely variety of meals. Every single staff member I have had the pleasure of meeting has been nothing short of fantastic!
Thank you so much for all of the hard work you do to make sure my relative is comfortable and happy.
Sadly she passed away on Thursday afternoon after a long illness.
I would give it 10 out of 10.
My mother was there for 5 1/5 years before she passed away and was looked after impeccably by all the staff there. The carers looked after her as if it was their own mother.
My dad came to the home for the last 3 weeks if his life and I could not wish for a better team to care for him, they were very supportive to my mum and I they even lent a shoulder to cry on, we will be eternally grateful to them.

I qualified as a Nurse in 1986. Following my qualification, I worked as a Staff Nurse in a Surgical Ward with the NHS, before moving to Lincolnshire in 1992. I worked for a large national charity for 23 years, 12 of those as the Registered Manager, before being made redundant. I joined Holbeach Hospital in 2022 as Deputy Manager and was appointed as Manager in May 2023.

I started work at Holbeach Hospital in 2013 as a Care Assistant before going to train as a nurse and completing my nursing degree in 2020. I became Deputy Manager in 2023 and, in September 2025, became the joint Registered Manager.
