If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.
Families and friends are encouraged to remain involved in the care of their loved ones and the home does not operate a ‘visiting hours’ restriction. You are more than welcome to come and join your loved one for meals, activities, or just a coffee and chat – all at any time. The team understand that everybody has busy lives. If your loved one has an appointment and you are unable to attend alongside them, arrangements can normally be made for a carer to escort them.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. The staff appreciate your kind words .
I am here because of a spinal injury and waiting to be rehoused - the other residents are dementia patients so hardly anybody to speak
There appears to be a shortage of staff as I need leg stretch exercises performed in my wheelchair twice a day but sometimes there are no staff able bodied enough to do them.
Some of the staff here are exceptionally attentive and make a real difference getting through each day.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a Review and for your final positive comments. I was sorry to hear that another resident has entered your room. Unfortunately, we cannot restrict the movements of other residents but do try to redirect residents away from spaces that are not theirs. It is also difficult to stop residents with Dementia from wandering in the environment. I would like to assure you that there is no 'shortage' of staff as staffing levels are continually reviewed to ensure that needs are met. It can be difficult at times for staff, to attend to immediate needs and meet the needs of all residents. I will be monitoring this, and your exercises, to ensure that they are completed. If you would like to discuss anything further, I will make myself available to meet with you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We will make sure your feedback is passed to the team members. It is much appreciated.
Thank you for submitting the review, especially at a time like this when the staff feel slightly unappreciated due to the CQC report which we do not feel is a balanced assessment of the care given by the home.
Thank you for taking the time to thank the care staff at what must be a difficult time for you.
Thank you, Elaine, for appreciating the hard work put in by the staff.
Thank you Liz for taking time to show your appreciation of the caring teams hard work.
