The atmosphere is consistently one of a venue that takes genuine care of its residents, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have been recommended Park Avenue as a suitable care home.

Ken is now resident of your care home. I call to see Ken several times, I am amazed, your staff are brilliant, very caring. The place is amazing, it's clean, tidy and secure. Staff are always very helpful and polite.

I am delighted with the care provided to my brother by Park Avenue Care Home. The home really does project a family atmosphere. This family atmosphere is promoted by the staff, particularly the nursing staff who deal day-to-day with the residents. I have found the manager and admin staff to be approachable and helpful and my brother tells me that the staff in the kitchen are also friendly and flexible. The staff always treat my brother with respect and deal well with his specific needs.

My mother in law received excellent end of life care in every aspect for two months. She was challenging, awkward in many ways and didn't want to be there yet all the staff were extremely patient, positive and kind. Their communication with me was great.

I can't recommend Meadows Edge highly enough, the care given exceeds expectations.

Staff are excellent. Mostly not from these shores, therefore good understanding of the English language is difficult for the patients to comprehend sometimes. The Staff all treat my wife (patient ) and I really well, Work rate, by and large, is excellent. Care is also very, very good. I am told that Staff numbers are in excess of Statutory requirements, but sometimes none are available in the Day Room, due, presumably, to work load or, Staff Shortages! Overall, I cannot praise the service highly enough and I am certainly pleased that I chose 'Meadows Edge'. I would not hesitate to recommend the Home to anyone in the position of looking for Care for a loved one. One observation I must note is that sometime/s patients are sitting in wet pants for too long. I appreciate that it is difficult to check this at peak times. But patients sitting in soiled underwear for long periods must be avoided at all costs.

Meadows Edge Home looks clean, well-maintained. I can see that the cleaning staff put effort into keeping it in good condition and ensuring the safety of the residents. All the staff are friendly and polite. The food is tasty and nutritious. I have eating dinner there with my husband.

Big room with nice view over fields. The is a small courtyard but not very pretty and nowhere else to go to outside. The food is OK but very bland and repetitive.

I am here because of a spinal injury and waiting to be rehoused - the other residents are dementia patients so hardly anybody to speak to. It feels very lonely. There is one particular patient who regularly barges into my room - most recently at 7am when I was trying to sleep and I found them shouting at me at the foot of my bed. If I do leave the room to exercise around the building it is set out in a rectangle of corridors so if you encounter this person it is very distressing as they often follow and try to touch you.

There appears to be a shortage of staff as I need leg stretch exercises performed in my wheelchair twice a day but sometimes there are no staff able bodied enough to do them.

Some of the staff here are exceptionally attentive and make a real difference getting through each day.

Park Avenue care home provided my daughter with such good care during her time here and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone. The staff are caring supportive and efficient. Sensitive to my daughters needs and ours. The work ethic is amazing and from the very first hour the atmosphere was like a breath of fresh air. They all deserve every award and more.

My late wife was a resident at Park Avenue Care Home for the last 5 weeks of her life. The care and compassion provided by all the staff at the home was exceptional. They were kind, compassionate and fully understood my wife's very specific medical needs. The home is bright, clean and very well managed. Specialist nursing and GP provision was always available from outside the home. The whole family cannot express our thanks enough.

From going through the door it is a welcoming atmosphere. My mother has settled in so well. The staff are caring and kind.

It has exceeded our family's expectations. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the attentive staff. The home itself is beautifully maintained, and the welcoming atmosphere immediately puts residents and visitors at ease. The level of care provided is outstanding. The staff members are genuinely compassionate, treating everyone with respect and dignity. They take the time to get to know each individual, which has made a world of difference for my grandad. The activities are great, there's always something enjoyable happening. The dining experience is equally impressive and delicious meals. The manager clearly takes pride in her work, continuously striving to improve and provide the best possible environment for residents. The peace of mind we have knowing our loved one was happy, safe, and well cared for is priceless. We are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful place and thank you for all the care you provide.

The most notable factor was how polite everyone was and this made residents and visitors feel like part of a much-loved family.

During my Mum's passing, the staff continued to support me, guiding me through the process and assisting with arrangements. I am deeply grateful to them for their compassionate and professional care. I wholeheartedly recommend Meadows Edge Care Home for their outstanding service in looking after my Mum.

The facilities are much improved now, they've undergone some significant improvements since mum's been there. She's moved rooms and they were quick to adapt to her specific needs.

My mum went into Meadows Edge home in December for Palliative Care. I couldn't have asked for a better home for her. The staff were very professional and caring. Very attentive. She loved the staff there. Nothing was too much trouble. When she passed away they were very professional in every aspect. She was so well cared for. Thank you to all the staff there.

We want to say a massive thank you to past and present staff who were there for Mum and us. We couldn't have got through any of it without your love and support.

My mum was admitted to Park Avenue in March 2023 after a stay in hospital, she had many health issues and was not eating and drinking correctly nor keeping up with her personal cleanliness after going to Park Avenue, this all changed and my mum started to gain weight and was having regular showers. We saw a massive improvement in my mum because of all the time and effort that the staff showed her. The staff were very friendly, kind, caring and comforting towards my mum and myself and my sister. Unfortunately, my mum passed away at the beginning of September but we truly believe that the care that the staff gave her extended her life. We are truly grateful and thank all staff in all departments at Park Avenue.
