Pathways is a nurse-led care home providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities and physical health needs. Located in Sutton-in-Ashfield, the purpose-built bungalow is part of the community, encouraging service users to engage with their local environment.
The eight-bedroom bungalow has a lounge, activity room and a large kitchen/diner with WiFi throughout. Bedrooms are decorated to suit personal tastes, with TV and telephone points available. Each bedroom also has an accessible en-suite wet room.
Service users are encouraged to spend time together and often eat together as a family. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time and be involved in care planning and reviews.
Activity coordinators and service users work together to create meaningful and fun plans. They believe social activities and leisure interests encourage a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Access to education is facilitated by staff, through ASDAN qualifications.
