Mum went in for respite after a fall and I wasn’t sure she’d recover as she’s 86, but she was really looked after and has made a great recovery. Everyone at Warren Park was brilliant. They were all so friendly and looked after mum so well. I would definitely recommend Warren Park. A massive thank you to everyone there.
What can I say? My aunt spent 4 years at Warren Park. The staff there became part of my extended family. From day one they made my aunt and me so welcome, it really is a home from home. Normally nursing homes have a certain feeling and atmosphere but at Warren Park, I always felt it was just like a big house where my aunt lived with all her friends. She never wanted for anything and most importantly I was able to leave her there and know she was safe and happy. I spent many an afternoon sitting in the lounge and gardens just as we would do at home and there were always plenty of things to keep her busy, from quizzes and bingo to the children's group that used to come and play on a Tuesday - this was her favourite. The staff, every single one of them, were professional and caring in equal proportions. I would not have wanted her to be anywhere else. They made her final years so nice and I am eternally grateful to Warren Park.
Thank you, Barry, for such lovely words. We are so pleased that you were happy with the care that your aunt received whilst she was living with us and felt that you could leave her knowing that she was safe and happy.
Our mother had to go for respite for two weeks as my sister was having an operation. She needed care as had a pelvic fracture that was healing. Unfortunately, Covid was rife so she had to go into isolation from day one. The home handled this amazingly well and bent over backwards, even going to go and get Mum's favourite cereal from the shop! Communication with family was excellent too. Can’t praise the owner and staff enough!
Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive review, we are pleased that you are happy with the care that your mum received during her stay with us.
My Mum has been a resident for three years, and my Dad was able to join her in her double room for a while before he passed away. My daughter and I visited approximately twenty nursing homes in Sefton before we chose Warren Park. It was by far the nicest home that we visited. It is set in nice grounds that some of the residents regularly enjoy in the warmer months. They have an activities coordinator who keeps the residents busy with various activities such as singing, gardening and days out (when allowed due to Covid restrictions). All the staff are amazing. They know each resident by name and take time to chat as well as care for the residents. When my Dad was receiving end of life care they were lovely with him, my Mum and close family, providing hot drinks and kind words that were much appreciated. The food is good and the place is spotlessly clean. My Mum is happy there.
Thank you Sue for taking the time to leave us a review and for providing us with such positive feedback. We are so pleased that you feel your Mum is happy and enjoys being with us at Warren Park.
Mother is here for 'end of life' care and has been for a few weeks. She is very happy here and loves the staff. She speaks very well of the meals - says everything is cooked from scratch and the chef adds lots of nice touches to familiar standards. She has a lovely room with an en-suite and a nice view of the grounds. Level of care is excellent and the staff are highly competent and very friendly. She hasn't been well enough to take part in the social side of things but the home seems to offer a good selection of outings and events. We consider ourselves very fortunate that she has been able to stay here.
Thank you for your kind words, we're so pleased that you feel your Mum is receiving an excellent level of care with us at Warren Park.
My grandad was a resident in Warren Park and very sadly passed away a few weeks ago. The staff are an amazing team and words cannot express the gratitude I feel for their acts of kindness, support and dedication shown to him during the last few weeks of his life. He was treated with dignity and as a member of their family. I was also supported by the staff for which I am truly grateful. Warren Park rooms are maintained to a very high standard and the cleanliness is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Warren Park to anyone who is considering a care home for their loved ones.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you feel your Grandad received the care and kindness that he deserved at Warren Park.
My nan came here just before Christmas and I cannot fault the staff here, nothing is ever too much for them. Going from a residential home where my nan was not correctly cared for it is is excellent to have faith restored and be shown that my nan is cared for how she should be. The staff are warm and friendly with my nan making her feel welcome, everywhere is always spotless and Covid procedures always followed strictly.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. We are so pleased that you feel that Warren Park is providing quality care for your Nan.
My Mum was allocated a placement at Warren Park after a long stay in hospital. I was so happy when I was able to visit. The house is beautiful with a lovely garden. My Mum’s room has a lovely view and is a good size. The care she receives is exceptional, she often tells me how wonderful the staff are and how well she is being looked after. She enjoys all the meals and also the activities the staff do with the residents. Mum is able to watch a live stream of catholic mass every week, which is another bonus too.
Thank you Ann for taking the time to leave us a review and for providing us with such positive feedback. We are so pleased that you feel your Mum is happy and well looked after at Warren Park.
As a family, we spent months searching and visiting care homes to find one which we found suitable for our mother. At Warren Park, we certainly found the best. My mother was a resident at Warren Park for just over two years and was given the best care we could have hoped for. The staff, from the managers right through to the cleaners, were first class and very professional, especially bearing in mind the situation with covid 19. Sadly, my mother passed four weeks ago and again the care, professionalism and dignity shown by all staff, especially the nurses was first class. I would not hesitate to recommend Warren Park to any family looking for the ideal place for a loved one.
Thank you Peter for taking the time to leave us a positive review and for your kind words about Warren Park. We are really pleased to hear that you felt Warren Park provided a high standard of care for your Mum.
As a power of attorney to a friend and neighbour, it was recommended to me that we applied for a vacancy at Warren Care. As with all major life changes, there are a few ups and downs for those going from home to a care home; with this in mind and to sum up the last six months during COVID, the manager and all the staff have bent over backwards to accommodate all requests to the best of their ability. There is an openness to answer all questions and requests and concerns. The quality of care appears very good, the food excellent and together, with the residents' liaison officer's additional attention to entertainment and information within the home, really makes this feel special for the residents and those who visit their loved ones.
Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate your positive feedback and are delighted that you feel Warren Park is providing quality care.
Nothing is too much effort for the staff here, and they are all lovely. The rooms are nice and well cared for. I have no faults whatsoever to find with this place. As I was growing older, I did not want to come into a home, but I've no doubt that I couldn't have come into a better one. If any of my friends asked my opinion of a home where they could go, I would certainly recommend Warren Park.
Eleanor, thank you for your kind words, and we knew it was going to be hard for you to adapt as you are fiercely independent, but it makes me proud and pleased to know that you believe the move has been a great decision and that you are perfectly content with the choice of Warren Park.
Mum went into Warren Park for end of life care. We had looked at many homes with a heavy heart until we found Warren Park. From the minute we went in, we were welcomed as a family, and mum made to feel that she was at home. The care from all members of staff regardless of what position they hold had been amazing their respect friendliness and dedicated care has always been first class because of this mum is still with us and even in these trying times continues to receive individual care thanking Warren Park.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are so pleased to hear your experience on being welcomed to Warren Park was, and remains, a happy one. We’re delighted that you chose us to look after Mum and we continue to do so.
Mum moved into care at Warren Park in February 2020 after I had been looking after her at home for a number of years but could no longer meet all her needs. The room was deep cleaned and freshly decorated before she moved in and it is a good size and with a lovely view into the garden. The staff have been universally kind and caring: they clearly care deeply for their charges all of whom are individually known to everyone. It has been unfortunate that the COVID pandemic has kept residents confined to their rooms for the bulk of the time Mum has been in but staff have done their best, enabling phone calls, taking and passing on messages, printing out our messages from the online system. For the few weeks, it was possible to visit they did everything they could to facilitate. It will be good when they are able to offer more activities as residents miss company but the most important thing - their safety - has been paramount and good techniques have kept everyone safe.
Thank You so much for your kind words, we appreciate your positive feedback and are pleased that you feel that Warren Park is providing quality care to your Mum.
Please if you care for your loved ones don't send them here, read previous reports from the CQC and take note.
Thank you Warren Park.
My mum was in Warren Park after she could no longer be cared for at home. It was by far the nicest nursing home we viewed. It has a lovely feel and is well-maintained. The rooms are always clean and tidy. When mum moved in, the room had been freshly decorated and we only had to indicate where to hang her pictures and it was done by the next day. All the staff are very friendly. The management team gave us confidence and were always available to answer any questions. The nursing staff do a fantastic job, they get to know all the residents quickly. The carers are kind and affectionate and always respectful, they keep families up to date on how their relatives have been getting on and what they have been doing. The social plan is varied. The kitchen staff are more than accommodating and happy to provide alternatives to the standard meals. I cannot think of anything that would stop me recommending this nursing facility to anyone looking for a safe and pleasant place for a loved one.
The building itself is kept beautifully and is spotlessly clean – and importantly it doesn’t smell like many nursing homes. What can I say about the staff – they are amazing, every last one of them from senior management, the nursing staff, the healthcare assistants, the ‘backstage’ staff in the kitchen and the laundry to the handyman. Everyone is friendly and smiling and always has time to chat to both residents and visitors alike; they treat residents like guests in their own homes and nothing is too much trouble. When mum needed full nursing care and the staff treated her with the utmost dignity and respect in every situation. No hesitation in recommending this nursing home to anyone.
My Partner's mother has been a resident of Warren Park Nursing Home for over four years now. The care and attention that she receives has been excellent. Despite the fact that she was put on end of life care about 12 months ago, she has recovered and is progressing well, thanks to the wonderful care she is receiving. I visit the home with my partner fairly regularly and the staff's attention to detail with cleanliness, medication, food and toilet care inspires us with confidence that her Mum is in a good, safe place. The social activities that are laid on for the residents are inspirational, with organised visits from children, magicians, singers and presentations about interesting historical events. I would have no hesitation in recommending Warren Park Nursing Home to anyone who needs Nursing Care.
The activities coordinator ensures there are a variety of activities although the music/singing seem to be favourite with the residents joining in. There are art/craft afternoons, quizzes, gardening club. Pamper sessions and one on one chats to make sure the residents are all catered for. Trips out have been enjoyed by those participating and there have been a variety of destinations, such as Museum of Liverpool Garden Centres and Lakeside walk.
The residents are kept clean, bathed or showered regularly and the whole building is always fresh and clean - in the last two years, I have never known the standard to slip.
The meals are varied and residents are encouraged to pass comment or suggest changes and these are taken on board and discussed.
THANK YOU ALL STAFF.

I have just under 40 years of experience in health and social care and am a registered learning disability nurse. My passion is developing all things person-centred for the people we support and the people employed. I am a people person and love working alongside staff and the people supported and catching up with relatives and friends regularly.

I am also the first point of contact for the friends and family of our residents and am happy to help in any way that I can.

Hi I’m Jen, I am a senior carer and CHAP (Care Home Assistant Practitioner). I have worked in elderly care for a little over 25 years and I enjoy delivering person-centred care to our residents.
