95 Holywell Road, Sheffield S4 8AR
Willowbeck in Sheffield is a nurse-led home for adults with complex needs.
At Willowbeck, care and activity plans are built around the person, not the condition. Staff support and encourage people to be happy, fulfilled and involved in their care, and identify achievable goals and outcomes with their families and relevant professionals.
Service users at Willowbeck live in one of five units depending on their unique needs - Carsington, Ladybowe, Rivelin, Derwent and Howden. Each unit has a choice of lounges and a spacious dining room, and every bedroom has an accessible en-suite with wash basin and toilet. Rooms can be decorated to suit personal tastes and there are TV points in all rooms and WiFi in most rooms.
Willowbeck understand the importance of good, nutritious food. The varied restaurant style dining is developed with service users to ensure a varied and interesting menu reflects personal tastes, religious and condition-specific dietary requirements. All meals are prepared in the kitchen using only the very best ingredients. Families are welcome to join residents at special meals, such as birthdays and anniversaries.
A full-time registered physiotherapist and therapy assistant work in the dedicated therapy room which is fully equipped to provide a range of exercises and other therapies.
Dedicated activity staff recognise that social activities, leisure interests and hobbies are all part of a healthy, balanced life at Willowbeck. They support service users to create meaningful and personal plans for activities and trips out of the home. As well as group activities, staff facilitate individual hobbies and interests.
