We thank you for this feedback and the very positive comments made. We have been working hard to improve on lots of aspects of our care and this has included communication with families and friends and their experiences when visiting as well as the care we provide to their loved ones. We will continue to strive to improve and respond to the feedback we are getting from residents, families and friends.

We regret any delay but have a planned programme of visits and it is important that visitors follow this to improve the efficiency of response. In addition, whilst we apologise for any delay in answering the door we would politely remind visitors that our primary concern is the safety and well being of our residents and there may be times when this takes precedent.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Janette for this review and for taking the time to discuss in more detail recently. It was acknowledged that some of these issues were historical and we will be striving to address all concerns and provide a more responsive service in future. All feedback is important and we take this seriously as it allows us to reflect and review how we work and how this is portrayed to others. We will be working hard to improve and look forward to this being reflected in future reviews.
We appreciate this feedback as it has allowed us to discuss with the family in more detail. It transpired that much of this was historical and we look forward to being able to work with all our residents and relatives going forward to improve our service. We have made a number of changes within service that will enable us to be more proactive and responsive and look forward to these positive moves being reflected in future reviews.
