Aden Mount Reviews (38)
Aden Mount has a Review Score of 9.7 (9.671) out of 10, based on 12 reviews in the last 2 years.
Over all time Aden Mount has 38 reviews.
My friend always took great pride in his appearance and whilst accepting that he is now permanently in a wheelchair, he looks untidy and dishevelled. Showering is not undertaken on a regular basis, requiring prompting for it to be done.
Multiple requests have been made for water to be provided on the table at mealtimes. For short intervals, this is adhered to and then forgotten. He has to wait long periods to be attended to which causes him great frustration and anxiety.
Initially, the home arranged trips out to supermarkets etc.
Your review is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to improve our service where needed. Aden Mount has an open-door policy, and as the Home Manager I spend a lot of time communicating with the residents, families and friends. We would always encourage relatives and friends to contact the home if they have any concerns so that we can assist in resolving them.
He would go hours at a time without being checked on, on one occasion we arrived at 11 am in the morning to find he hadn't even had a drink, and a couple of occasions we had to chase his breakfast down as he still hadn't received it going on to 10 am.
He wasn't moved regularly to ease pressure sores and a full wash was a treat, 2 days he went without any wash. When we mentioned to the nurse that nobody was checking on him we were told he was looking frail so they didn't want to disturb him.
When he rang the bell so he could have help getting to the toilet it would be a 15 - 20 minute wait, in fact, it was so bad that my mum took over taking him to the toilet and even staying overnight to make sure his needs were met. Staff was lovely just not enough of them.
Occasionally, our ladies and gentlemen need to wait for assistance because of the needs of other residents in the home, and we...
My lovely Mum became a resident at Aden Mount in September 2021. In what was an exceptionally emotional and difficult time for our family, Mum was shown so much warmth, respect and affection from all members of staff. We felt we had become part of an extended family and we couldn't have experienced more kindness and care as we navigated Mum's needs. I will be forever grateful to each member of staff who I felt genuinely cared about my wonderful Mum.
This home is absolutely terrific and comes very highly recommended. It is well managed, spotless and safe. But the best thing about it is without a doubt the people who run it and care for the residents who stay there. While pleasant surroundings can be replicated and this home has that, it is not so easy to find people and staff who go that extra mile to make sure the people they look after are cared for and made to feel part of the family and at home. The staff at Aden Mount go well beyond the call of duty (and some) to care for the people who live there. They are legitimately caring, compassionate and kind. And that is hard to find and replicate. Well done Aden Mount you have our hearty thanks and appreciation. I thank the staff for their kindness and compassion. We would heartily recommend this home to anyone.
I find the staff friendly and super helpful. My dad always seems happy when I visit him. The staff always try to accommodate me with regard to visiting my dad, even though I have difficult work hours.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind review. We are delighted to read of good experiences at our home and will share your lovely words with the staff team. Take care and keep safe.
My review is based on my personal experience as a relative of a new resident at Aden Mount. On the visit prior to the admission of my relative, we met with the manager who was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and answered my questions with honesty. I appreciated that the assessment was undertaken in the lovely room she is now residing in. I cannot praise enough the professional, friendly staff within the home from the cleaners, catering, nursing, and managers that have contributed to my relative stating she is living the dream. I cannot give this home enough praise for the peace of mind this home has provided for our family knowing she is cared for in our absence.
Thank you for your kind words. The care team at Aden Mount appreciate your comments about the care and support provided. I will share your comments with them. The team at Aden Mount are here to deliver the best in care, and it's lovely to see that care appreciated. Many best wishes.
Covid has made the last 18 months very strenuous for all, and I have been more than pleased with the attitude and the way the staff have dealt with a difficult situation. Just difficult to see how life will get back to some form of normality.
Thank you for taking the time to do this review. We're so pleased to hear that you are happy with the way our staff have dealt with the pandemic. Our team will continue to support residents and families and we have no doubt, that at some point soon, things will return to normal. Until then, take care and keep safe.
I'm very happy with all the care he receives, knowing he can be quite difficult at times.
I felt my Dad was cared for very well and all staff were kind to him and my family. If I ever asked for anything doing towards his care, it was always done.
My parents recently moved into this care home and I have absolutely no complaints about the initial settling in process. They have a large double room that is well furnished. The food is home-cooked and really tasty. The laundry service is fantastic. The management very efficient and obliging where possible. All staff members are very pleasant and although at times understaffed are doing a sterling job! Thanks to all.
We found the home very clean and tidy. The management and all the staff, right down to the cleaners, were very helpful and nothing was any trouble. They answered all our questions the best they could. The nurses helped with feeding and provided what they wanted to eat if they did not want what was on the menu. They provided drinks and snacks whenever they wanted them.
In July 2019 I visited a resident at Aden Mount Care Home and was very impressed with the overall attention and care that my family member received. The staff were - I thought - exceptional, friendly and helpful. I do not have any misgivings about my family member being there and really think she is receiving the best care and attention.
I have been very happy with all aspects of my wife's care at Aden Mount. The staff are all very caring and helpful. Any questions or concerns that I have had have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Similarly, the home has always brought any of their concerns to my attention.
He has flourished and loves the staff as they are very kind and helpful.
We as a family are extremely satisfied with his care.
Every time I come to visit my uncle the staff are always friendly and helpful. My uncle always tells me that he is happy, well fed and looked after by lovely carers.
Caring and understanding.
The idea of a monthly surgery to air concerns or general feedback a fantastic idea.
Keep up the good work.
All staff are friendly and very helpful.
Mum settled in really well.
Even though she doesn't like the hoist they talk mum through it and make her okay.
Nothing is too much trouble.
If I have a concern and mention it, it is looked at straight away.
