I have had the privilege of working in the care sector for over 20 years, with a vast array of experience in home management and senior leadership.
I have worked in care for 13 years and have done or had my hands in every role within the care home, from laundry to assistant manager. I am a care home assistant practitioner on top of being the assistant manager.
My end goal is to run my own home as a home manager.
Before I started at Thornhill I had graduated in Economics and had a change of my career and it is the best decision I have made. I have worked for Thornhill for many years; I started as a domestic and worked my way up to team leader and completed the NVQ Level 5 so I am very proud of my achievements. I am very passionate about my job which truly brings me joy, I believe I am able to excel in my role and I am always able to take on more responsibilities.
