Sue worked at Matalan for 23 years as the Cash Administrator/Team Leader and also as a trainer to new staff and management in administration. Sue decided that she wanted to go back to college and study Sage 1/2 and ECDL. With her acquired qualifications, she hoped to apply for a new Admin/Secretarial position in the Care Sector. That is where she found Randolph House. Sue enjoys the new challenges that the care industry has brought to her.
Outside of work, she enjoys walks with her new Granddaughter, trying out new recipes and travelling the world for the culture when we're able to.
I'm Wendy, lead engagement for activities at Randolph House. I am married and have been with my husband for over 23 years. I started at Randolph in April 2023 having previously worked in activities for over 6 years as a wedding photographer /events coordinator and an author for 15 years, along side working as a forklift driver in a warehouse for 11 years. Outside of work I look after my father in law who lives with me and my husband and I am a carer for my brother in law. I enjoy creating charcoal pictures, wood burning, making garden tables and a bit of writing,
As lead engagement I plan all activities that go on in the home, from creating an idea from scrap wood to booking in singers and other acts. We see visiting family members on a daily basis and we put families minds at ease by giving them up dates on their loved ones.
