Courtney has been a valued member of the team at Thomas Knight Nursing Home for over 10 years. Her journey in care began as a Care Assistant in 2015, and through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to high standards of care, she progressed into Senior and Deputy roles before becoming Care Home Manager.
Inspired by her own experience caring for her grandparents, Courtney brings genuine empathy and understanding to her role. Her care philosophy is centred on resident-led care, ensuring that every individual is supported with dignity, choice, and respect.
Courtney is currently completing the final modules of her Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care Management and completing the Registered Managers' Induction Award, further strengthening her leadership skills and professional expertise. Her leadership skills are reflected in the positive and supportive culture she has developed within her team.

A qualified mental health nurse Kayanne has recently joined the team after previously working at the site leaving to have her son. She has worked successfully as a nurse and deputy manager and is now supporting and developing our nursing team and guiding the development of the senior care team
She is working closely with the group director and NI on introducing research-led practice into the dementia care and nursing services
