Additionally we are incredibly pleased with some of the recent positive changes at the home, particularly Courtney taking the position of manager. She is exceptionally passionate about her role, treats every resident like family, and clearly makes their well-being her main priority.

A very caring and friendly environment. Secure, cosy, fullfilling all the residents needs.

All staff are pleasant and competant, some shine through. I find Brenda (manager) easy to talk to and ready to listen to any niggles I have. communication between staff could be better, also laundry, not all seem to adhere to not mixing colours, whites and darks, I have thrown things out because of this (badly discoloured).

Best thing we did for my grandad was getting him into Waterloo house. The care he has received since being there is heart warming. All of the staff are amazing from kitchen staff, carers, cleaners to management- all so lovely and welcoming each time we visit. We can't thank the staff enough for the difference they've made to my grandad since he moved there just 6/7 weeks ago, it's like he's been given a new lease of life.

I was very happy with how my mam was looked after at Harwood Court. All staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and caring. During her time there, she was always well looked after, which gave me great comfort. I would have no hesitation of recommending Harwood Court.

I recently moved my mother to Waterloo House after her being in a previous care home. I can honestly say its the happiest and settled I've seen her in a long time. The staff have been fantastic not only with my mam but also with me and my family. Thanks to everyone at Waterloo House for their wonderful care.

I would just like to thank all the staff for the care and support they have given my mother-in-law. Had it not been for Waterloo Care Home, giving my mother-in-law the security and safety she needed. Again, just a very big thank you to everybody at Waterloo Care Home.

Loving the changed that have been implemented by the new manager Courtney. Carehome feels warm and welcoming and the service provided for my mother is excellent. I would recommend Thomas Knight highly to future families since Courtney has become manager. The staff are also excellent and I would like to give a special shout out to John and Leonor and Julie who takes my mum out.

The carers who take care of my dad are respectful, kind and patient with him which is so important for us to see that he is happy to line there. My dad is settled and enjoys living here which ensures his wellbeing.

I'm so happy will all helpers. Staff all so nice and very helpful. I am and my husband David very satisfied.

Fantastic care home, so happy my uncle has settled here, gives me peace of mind he is happy safe and well looked after. All the staff have catered to his needs and treat him as an individual. He wants for nothing.

Thomas Knight Care Home provides safe and thoughtful care for my Uncle Cecil. He is always treated with utmost respect and his dignity is always preserved. The home is always clean and presentable with no unpleasant odours or signs of disrepair. Thank you to the management and staff of Thomas Knight Care Home.

The staff are all friendly and take care of my father. He is very hard to look after due to him being blind and dementia.

The team always have answers to my questions and when we have him out in a wheelchair around Blyth staff have crossed the road to speak to him.

It may not be the most modern building but the care for my dad is the most impotent thing and can't fault that.

I am so happy that my parents are at Thomas Knight. The management and all of the staff are so approachable and go out of their way to talk about my parents. They don't treat it as a job, more like a vocation.

John manager is superb. He is professional and always has time to talk to you each time we visit our dad. The staff also are excellent. They always smile and chat to you. They work very very hard. The home is so nice and spotless.

I am very happy with my mums care, the care home staff are very friendly and treat my mum with respect and like family, alot of good emprovements have been made to make the standard alot better and I now feel that my mum is safe and looked after correctly with new changes by management and this buts my mind at rest and nothing seems to be a problem when I ask. The only concerns I have is laundry.

The staff at Waterloo House have given support to both my father and our entire family. They have shown care and understanding to all.

In my experience this care home is second to none. The food is good as is cleanliness, but mainly the staff who are kind and caring and put themselves out and go above and beyond to care for and entertain their residents.

I find the staff very caring towards the residents and treat them with respect, nothing is too much bother. Whenever I visit they are always friendly and kind.
