My husband has been in Llangollen Fechan for 20 months. He is well cared for and has settled in really well. The staff are brilliant with him which is reflected in my husband's attitude to them. He doesn't speak now but has smiles for all the staff. He is a people watcher and loves watching them go
about their work. Myself, I have no complaints, he is well, clean and settled.

I am the stepson of a resident who has been at Llangollen Fechan since 2019. I myself live a distance away and liaise with staff weekly by telephone. Staff fill me in on her well-being. I visited briefly last summer and met staff at the home. I also met the deputy manager, she is the lady I speak to
most. It was lovely to meet everyone. As soon as I walked into the home I was welcomed. I was taken to see my stepmother, she stays in her room (her choice). She was eating lunch and seemed very happy and bright. I would recommend this home to anyone. It is excellent.

My mother has been in Llangollen Fechan now for over 12 months and has settled in well and is very happy there. All her needs are met, and it's all due to the welcoming, hard-working, kind and caring staff. The management are always approachable, efficient and helpful if there are any issues. The home

Management have been very professional and accommodating in the care of Mum and Dad .
They have provided a double room which is well equipped and clean.
Food is of very high standard.
Care staff are always polite, helpful and uphold the resident's dignity.
Their communication skills are excellent
and all staff are approachable.
I have very high standards and the care both Mum and Dad are receiving is of excellent quality .
I would recommend this care home to my colleagues and my friends.

I cannot believe how lovely the staff are here. They are always welcoming and very polite. The place is spotless and a hive of activity where staff are on the go all the time. This is the place I hope to go to when I'm older.
I can't give the place any less than 5 stars I'm so impressed.

My dad was previously in a nursing home in Wrexham for four years, he never mixed with other residents because of the level of his dementia and stayed in his room for the whole four years. The day he was moved to Fechan in Llangollen he was in the main room mixing with the other residents. When we went
to visit him we could not believe what we saw, a very happy man who was in the main room with other residents watching TV. As you can imagine we were all in tears of joy might I add at the total transformation of how he was previously living. The care there for residents is above and beyond any expectations I have ever had, also we needed emergency respite for my auntie my dad's sister which they could not do enough for us and she too is now a permanent resident there. She absolutely loves the food there and she was a very fussy eater, I have to say the Manager and Assistant Manager are so much more than their roles, they really know each resident by name, and we have complete peace of mind with this home.

Our daughter married in April this month and my mother in law was not able to attend. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and ensured that my mother-in-law was set up with IT to be able to watch the wedding and made sure this was a happy experience for her. They also arranged a party for
the residents as well so they could join in with the celebrations. As a family, we are very grateful to the entire staff for their loyalty and compassion. In her wait for a care package, she has been very happy with Llangollen Fechan Home. Thank you.

My 97-year-old dad has been in Llangollen Fechan for 18 months. All the staff at the Fechan are extremely kind, caring and most of all loving towards my lovely dad. He is well looked after, which is reassuring to our family at this terrible time. I have seen my dad just once since March, which is heartbreaking,
but we know that he is being well looked after and safe at the amazing Fechan - Well done to all!

We certainly made the right choice when choosing this home for Mum. Mum was admitted three months ago during what was a traumatic and life-changing time for our small and close-knit family in the middle of a global crisis.
I have only experienced care, consideration and professionalism from all at Llangollen Fechan. Mum seems as happy and settled as we could probably
hope for. Information and contact are easily accessed and it's so lovely to be able to keep an eye on what is going on via the Facebook page.
I've been able to visit once due to these strange times and feel such gratitude that in spite of the way life has turned for mum and our family she is in the best place she could possibly be.

My Mother has been a resident At Llangollen Fechan for the last 4 yrs approx. She is mentally very alert and well able to give her opinion on her care. She loves all the staff and gets the very best care possible. She is welsh speaking and appreciates that some of the staff chat to her in her native
language! This year 2020 has been particularly hard but everyone has done their very best through facetime etc to keep her connected to the family!

Cannot thank the staff at the Fechan enough, for their continued care and support for my mother, having been diagnosed with dementia in October 2019, mums physical and mental health was rapidly declining, from the very beginning with mums initial day visits to the Fechan, all the staff have been nothing
but supportive to mum and us family, mum is happy and safe now in this warm caring environment, staff have gone above and beyond to keep our loved ones safe Thank you.

My mother was admitted to Fechan nursing home in January 2020. The home itself is set in a very picturesque setting. It is spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The manager is very approachable and always dealt with any issues promptly and effectively. The staff from carers to domestic and catering staff
were always very, very kind to mum and provided excellent care throughout her stay and were very supportive during mum’s end of life care. This year has been a very difficult time for everyone and I am so grateful to all the staff for keeping mum and all the residents safe. It is down to their dedication that they have been Covid free.

My Dad has been at the home for 14 months now. He is very well cared for and happy at the Fechan.
All the staff have gone above and beyond during COVID 19. Lockdown was implemented at the home even before the government made their decisions, this was to make sure all staff and our loved ones were
safe. A very big thank you to all the staff cleaners, kitchen staff, admin and laundry for all the care workers who have organised fantastic activities from movie afternoons, gardening, craftwork, quizzes, bingo and many more. They have celebrated every residents Birthday with amazing cakes and gifts. When I see all our loved ones on Facebook looking happy and involved in the activities it fills my heart with joy.
I face time my Dad once a week it’s so good to be able to see him, the occupational therapist told me when he sees the iPad he says Carol that’s my daughter( tears of joy ). A massive thank you to all involved in keeping staff and residents safe.

I am really impressed with the home and they have gone above and beyond during the pandemic. It is a difficult time for everyone but whenever there is contact the staff are cheerful and very positive. They have offered video/phone calls with mum but her Alzheimers doesn't make that easy. Communication
from the home is very good and I'm contacted when necessary. Mum has been a resident for 2 years and I'm so grateful for the care and compassion given to her by all the staff. The meals are homemade and are delicious and the cleanliness is to a very high standard. Everyone must work very hard to achieve this. Last week I had a virtual review for mum and the nurse who conducted this phoned me and we talked through it the day before, nothing was too much trouble and it all went smoothly. I can not thank everyone enough for mum's care and keeping her safe. I haven't been able to visit for almost 8 months but I am sure mum's care continues to a high standard. I cannot thank them all enough

I have been working in the adult care sector for over twenty years, starting as a care assistant at the age of 16, I joined Roberts Homes in 2019 and became the Registered Manager of this service in 2023.


Over the years I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and training including NVQ level 5 in leadership and management, I promote a high standard of care within my service and I am actively involved in supporting my team of staff in delivering the best possible care.


I have completed numerous dementia training courses that have enabled me to have an understanding of the condition and how to achieve the best possible outcome for individuals diagnosed with all variations of dementia.


This is a purpose-built care home that offers specialist dementia care, we have created a safe happy home that has been tastefully decorated throughout to ensure we offer a warm homely environment but one that is also stimulating.


I enjoy working for a company that is not only dedicated to the quality of care we provide but is also supportive of all employees.


I have a strong team that supports me on a daily basis this provides me with the ability to be able to spend time with families who may have any questions or concerns when choosing a new home for their loved one.
