The home has spacious single bedrooms, all with an en-suite facilities and a choice of two lounges and a separate dining room.

The dementia facility at Bistre comprises of 10 single rooms, most with en-suite facilities. Residents have a large lounge and conservatory area for their comfort, and a passenger lift for those on the first floor.

My mum was a resident at Bistre Nursing Home until she passed away recently. The care she received was wonderful and as a family this gave us such peace of mind. All staff are welcoming, friendly and compassionate, nothing was ever too much trouble.

Bistre Nursing Home is such a welcoming place. It’s like a home from home. The carers, nurses and everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. If there’s a problem they will go out of their way to try and solve it. My mum is very happy here.

All the care staff are marvellous with my mum - the nursing staff and caregiving are fantastic, everyone knows Mum well, even the cleaners and kitchen staff interact with her which is great to see. I am kept updated on Mum's health and well-being if I am unable to visit.

When coming to meet my aunt, I can honestly say I leave with 100% peace of mind that they are very well looked after. The staff and in particular, care home manager are all compassionate, caring, friendly and are always on hand, nothing is ever a bother.

Perfect experience - couldn’t be happier with how much support my aunt has received. We were very nervous about her going into the home, as we have always tried to care for her the best we can at home, but the staff have made not only her feel comfortable and supported - but us too. We appreciate everything

As a granddaughter, seeing my nana in the care home so happy and comfortable means the world. Everything is so personable and she is looked after with so much care. If you are looking for the best care for your loved one, then you will find it here.
The staff work tirelessly to ensure the residents are well cared for. Mum spent the last eighteen months of her life here, the staff were wonderful with her. We had no worries about her welfare and comfort.
