Situated near the seaside town of Colwyn Bay, Eithinog is an extended Victorian detached home that can accommodate up to 34 adults with physical disabilities. As well as the Marion Centre which offers physiotherapy, hydro pool, rehabilitation and wellbeing programmes, the site also has the Arfon reablement service for up to 8 adults to transition to more independent living. Colwyn Bay is on a main line station, and offers a variety of local amenities and attractions including the beach, the promenade, an indoor shopping precinct, a sports centre, a swimming pool and a cinema.
Eithinog delivers high quality care and nursing for adults with physical disabilities and complex needs. Regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales, the dedicated and experienced team use a person centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity and respect.
Each individual chooses how they are supported, and lead very active lives. With a focus on independence, health, wellbeing and skills building, extensive activity programmes offer something for everyone. As well as staff, a team of committed volunteers support individual and group activities, so all have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise.
Eithinog enables residents to get the most out of life, supporting individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends, and gain the ability to move on to more independent living when they’re ready.
