My mother spent three and a half years here until her death aged 97 years, six years ago. I never wanted to step foot inside the home again, but when my 81 year old sister needed respite care, it felt as though we'd met up with old friends again! Every member of staff is very professional but so friendly
and helpful - both to the resident and visitors who are made to feel very important. It was lovely to meet up with our friends again.

Following a replacement knee operation I realised that I needed help so booked in for 2 weeks. Seemed obvious to try Abbey Dale, as we have been very satisfied with Mother's care for 3.5 years, a few years ago. The owner had a room free and quickly got it ready. I chose to have meals in my room and
to stay there with just occasional walks. Treated with respect by everyone. Nice atmosphere among staff, who all worked well together.

I would like to thank all of the staff at Abbeydale for the professional and caring manner that they took care of my mother while she was in their care. She was treated so kindly and attentively by all the staff. I and my family could see that the staff took the time to talk to all residents we could
also see that the residents were kept immaculate. They have a very lovely atmosphere at the home. Christmas was made so special with every resident receiving gifts given to them by Father Christmas and his helpers (the owner and his family). My family and I had many long trips up to Wales when we visited the home we were always offered tea biscuits and sandwiches. When my mother was very ill we didn't feel alone and the support we were given was massive. The staff had made sure that her priest was called and he came to visit every day it was such a comfort. You could not wish for a better caring nursing home
Thank you for all of your kindness and support
