Treflys Nursing Home

My mother-in-law was in Treflys for a little over a year and sadly passed away very recently.we feel very blessed to have come across this wonderful home. It feels very homely,warm and friendly.You are made to feel like family and the staff go above and beyond,nothing is to much trouble. The level of care is outstanding and you are kept informed and involved with your loved ones at every stage. Person centred care is definitely present here . They have an excellent team and are all worth their weight in Gold.The home is very clean and the food is good, I loved the smell of the kitchen when you walked in . Visiting at any time is not a problem even staying most of the night should you need to. We feel mum was treated with dignity and respect at all times and we can't thank them enough for the love and care they showed not only to mum but to us as well. We would highly recommend Treflys to everyone , I even want to book a room here for myself.

My mother has settled very well at Treflys, moved in end of December. The staff are kind and willing to help. Her Room is kept clean and orderly. The home itself, with different choice of lounges for different residents, is homely, nicely furnished and warm. She has her own corner by the window and the staff have personalised her chair. She enjoys the food and tells me who are her friends, that is, 3 staff members who she has become fond of already. She has a lot of mobility needs, signs of dementia and a continuing gastric illness. She seems cared for, trustful of staff and a lot less fretful than in previous months. I am very thankful to the home for settling her in well and also pleased with her room which is bright and homely, being allowed to have her beloved wall clock and pictures around her. Staff had raised concerns to her GP appropriately.

I would just add that the reason I am no longer a resident is that I moved to be closer to my son.
