Ty Victoria Nursing Home

Mum has been resident over a year and have found the Care Home and staff to be exeptional.Constantly engaging with the residents and meeting all thier needs.Would unconditionally recommend to any Senior looking for a placement.

The deputy manager always goes above and beyond to help us and give us all the important that we need. She is an excellent nurse, kind caring and compassionate towards the residents staff and visitors.

My mum was taken out for a Christmas meal in the community pub which she enjoyed. The manager is extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble and interacts with the residents on a daily basis. Could not wish for a better home for my mum.

Ty Victoria is a happy home, the staff are caring and always having fun with the residents. Each time I visit Dad he's always happy and having a joke with whoever is looking after him at the time. The manager always has time for residents and relatives, something that I know is not easy but is greatly appreciated. My Dad has been taken to the local pub a few times, something he used to do before he had dementia so this is a lovely touch by the home.

This home is like a home from home. It is the staff at Ty Victoria Nursing Home that makes this home amazing. They are caring, attentive and compassionate. The home is clean and organised. Nothing is too much for the manager and team, always keeping you informed and always available when you call. The residents enjoy activities daily and residents and family had a wonderful time at the recent BBQ and singer. Thank you all for the fantastic job you do for the families of the residents. A thank you does not express how much we all appreciate you.

A very caring and helpful home with excellent staff and management. The residents and service is the best, with dignity to my wife. The rooms are homely and clean and the food and drink are good with good facilities.

Ty-Victoria Home, every single member of staff are excellent at their jobs, so kind, thoughtful and caring. My Mum always seems settled and happy. We couldn’t ask for more. Plenty going on to keep her busy and occupied.

Very pleased with the way my mother is being cared for. She has been a resident for almost three years. The staff and management have been amazing through very difficult times. There have been many improvements in the last two years to the building such as painting and decorating of the residents' rooms and communal area. A new development of a garden area - which is so essential in these times and allows outside visits if weather is good. The residents have regular outings and visiting musical entertainment. The home has only 22 residents but has a more homely feeling compared to some other homes I considered. The bedrooms are not large and there are shared bathrooms but the excellent level of care far outweighs anything else.

A special mention to the manager, who goes above and beyond in her role. Thank you all.

The manager and her team are superb. My dad was here from Sept 2021 and the care he has received has been exemplary; the empathy and dignity shown, knowledge of the staff of each resident, superb honest communication is above my expectations, but exactly what you need as a family member. Due to my job, I have a great deal of experience with nursing homes and this home and the leadership provided is amazing. We highly recommend it.

My Dad has settled in well, with the Manager and staff getting a quick understanding of his needs. They offer a high standard of care and are always looking for ways to enhance Dad's experience. Dad is content and well looked after.

My mum is currently a resident. They go way above and beyond for each resident. I cannot thank them all enough. They inform me of any changes, etc., and are always helpful when I phone up. I would highly recommend this place.

My husband has been a resident at Ty Victoria Nursing Home for 2 years. The care and attention he receives here is wonderful and the dedicated staff treat him like family. He is looked after with compassion, kindness, respect and dignity. Our son and I have always been warmly welcomed and any worries have been sorted out quickly. During the difficult months of Covid when he was very unwell and we couldn't visit, the staff kindly made a few video calls so that he could see me. The new manager at Ty Victoria recently organised a trip to Mumbles for the residents. Due to Covid restrictions, my husband hadn't been outside the home for 15 months, so needless to say, he thoroughly enjoyed himself, especially the local fish and chips. The strain of Covid has put so much pressure on the hardworking staff to keep the residents and themselves safe. I am so glad that my husband is in the care of this excellent nursing home with its amazing staff. Thank you so very much to you all.

Both of my grandparents are currently residents at Ty Victoria. Since their arrival, we have been so impressed with the standard of care, professionalism, empathy and reassurance provided to us and to our loved ones. We can feel assured they are receiving the very best of care at all times, and I would urge anyone who is having to make the decision of where to place their loved one to choose Ty Victoria. You will not find a better. We are eternally grateful to the manager and all of the fantastic staff for their hard work in ensuring all of the residents, including my grandparents, receive the absolute best at all times. My lovely dad has been in this wonderful care home since lockdown, and while we have been unable to visit inside, every effort has been made to keep us updated and reassured of his ongoing care. I cannot praise the manager and her staff highly enough. They have kept us updated with photos, videos and regular phone calls. Each and every person you speak to clearly cares deeply for the welfare of the residents, and my dad always looks spotless and well turned out - just as he'd like it! So happy have we been with dad's care that when it became clear that mum needed more care than we could provide her with we had no hesitation in putting her name down to be with dad. Once again, every effort has been made to settle mum in and help her through what has been a difficult transition. The staff treat them both like family and nothing is too much trouble. I owe them all a debt of gratitude for their kindness and hard work and highly recommend the home.

My husband was a resident of Ty Victoria for over two years. I can't speak highly enough of the care he received during his stay. Nurses and care workers looked after him extremely well, having to feed him and take care of all his personal needs. I was also made very welcome by the staff and they helped me tremendously. The home was always spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Ty Victoria to anyone.
