All staff are extremely caring and hard working. They carry out their tasks with sensitivity and a consideration for the residents' dignity. We are confident that our family member is happy and contented in this very caring environment. She particularly enjoys participating in crafting and we are very grateful that this facility is available to her.

I'm very happy with the care that my mother has received since moving in at the end of April this year. It's been reassuring for me to know that she is safe and well cared for here. The staff have really taken the time to get to know her in the last four months and have been very patient and supportive not only towards her, but with me as well. It's been easy for me to build an excellent rapport with everyone at the home as I'm made to feel so welcome when I visit and am always kept up to date with her health and progress as well as being involved in her care plan reviews. There are stimulating daily activities taking place that she can join in with if she wants to, as well as trips out into the local community. I can highly recommend this care home.

My mother has been in Woodside for 2 years now. She seems very happy there, the staff are super, help her when she needs to be haloed, can't fault them her carer is very good with my mother, takes her out on a Wednesday to play bingo, takes her up the garden to help with planting flowers and other stuff.

Since placing my mother into Woodside, I have experienced care at its greatest. All the staff have been so attentive and sympathetic to my mother and to us as a family. We have found that as a family, a lot of our concerns have been met through every member. I would like to congratulate everybody involved with Woodside. First Class.

Overall Experience

This is a first-class nursing home. The staff take great pride in their work and care of the residents. My uncle has been in this home for several years and I can see from first-hand experience how well cared for he is. The food is varied and excellent. They make every effort to get the residents to participate in activities. They are very accommodating to visitors/family members. If there is a medical problem they take action immediately and report back to the next of kin as soon as possible. The ratio of residents to staff is good. It does not smell like care homes I have experienced do.
