Michelle became Home Manager at Belleville in September 2023, bringing 19 years of experience in health and social care. A registered learning disability nurse, she has worked in various roles, including senior carer coordinator, deputy manager, and manager. Michelle’s personal experience growing up with a sister with learning disabilities inspired her career in care. She takes pride in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued.
One of her proudest achievements was completing her nursing degree while working full-time and raising her son. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys watching football and raising her children with a strong work ethic. Her advice for choosing a care home is to visit and experience the environment firsthand.
I have been a registered nurse for 31 years. I trained in Glasgow and graduated with a BA in Nursing Studies. Post qualification, I moved into the private care sector and have worked in Care Homes for the Elderly ever since.
I am passionate about caring for the elderly and ensuring that residents in my care receive the best possible standards of care and support. I always ensure that personal choices are respected and that loved ones are involved at every opportunity.
