As a family, we were not happy with the care our 95-year-old Mum received at this care home. She was very distressed during her short stay there and management were keen to remove her to hospital as they found her too time-consuming for what they wanted. Their communication skills are dire and they
lack compassion.
In our opinion, anyone moving in there who is active is not what they are looking for as they need extra monitoring and they are not able to provide that. We would not recommend them.

We’re really sorry to hear that this has been your experience. We always take feedback or complaints seriously and include them in learning and development opportunities for the home and across the group. Very best wishes for the future, Renaissance Care

I am very happy with the care my relative receives at Mathieson House. The home is welcoming and comfortable and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent care. The activities provided by the staff keep my relative happy and engaged.

My family and I had a very good experience. They made our mum feel very much at home straight away, although it still took her a while to settle in she is very happy staying there. All the staff are great and very friendly, they cannot do enough for the residents and their families. They have beautiful
surroundings and all the rooms are very clean. My mum has all her own things in her room so she thinks she is in her own home which is great so that makes the family happy.

This is an excellent care home. The rooms are like small hotel rooms, well furnished and the handyman will see to anything from fixing something to putting personal photo's or paintings on the walls. Since we have had a new manager I have noticed a lot of improvements to furnishings (e.g roundtables
in the dining room as opposed to square much friendlier for the residents). Also, a tea room has been opened and there is a good range of activities from games to sing-alongs to visiting dogs etc. I cannot speak highly enough of Letham Park and will recommend it to anyone.

My friend was a very independent lady. After her accident, she was put in this nursing home. At first, she would not settle, the staff persevered with her and would not give up. She has now been here 10 months and she is now part of a big family and has settled in. This is due to the management and
staff and their care. I would describe this home as a family unit. You get to know them all on first name terms.

Excellent and the care provided to my Father has been exceptional. The Manager is running a very lovely facility. Under his guidance the staff are wonderful, always smiling and very obliging. They all take their roles seriously to make the environment very pleasant for their residents. As a relative,
it is so good to know that my/our loved one is in safe hands. The leadership skills are superb. All staff are very happy from the domestics to the management. Out of 100 = 100%
