My aunt is well looked after in this care home. Staff and management can't do enough. It gives our family peace of mind that our aunt is being extremely looked after. Highly recommend this care home. Best care home I have ever dealt with. All staff go above and beyond looking after our aunt. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts.

I'm hoping my aunt's carpet gets replaced since carpet is done. Apart from this, I can't fault the care our aunt receives.

My mother moved to Croftbank Care Home in November 2025 and from day 1 she was settled and comfortable in the home. She was very content and comfortable in her surroundings the staff made a great effort to make her feel this was her home. She enjoyed the activities especially where she could dance, she loved music and dancing was a great joy for her Cannot express my gratitude to you all for being so caring and empathetic to our Mother and to us as a family. So accommodating and compassionate in her final day we will be forever grateful to you all for your kindness and love. If I could give the carers a special mention thank you, thank you. You made my mums last months full of fun and laughter

The care staff are very caring polite and attentive and make you feel at home ever time we come to visit my mother we have no complaints regarding the care home aye feel my mother is well looked after and her needs are well met

I am so glad my husband has found a home at Beech Manor. I have visited friends and relatives in three other care homes and though very nice none of them have the friendly ambience of Beech Manor. Everyone from management to cleaning staff has a smile and a friendly word for you when you visit. Its like one big happy family. I like to visit my husband every day when possible, this has a lot to do with the tea/coffee and home baking as much as a desire to see Harry! And relatives are always made welcome to join in any activity that is going.

My mum has been in the care home for 12 weeks & the care she has received has been 1st class. Staff are very friendly & attend to her needs brilliantly. my Mum has settled in very quickly & the lovely staff have played a big part. Her becoming settled so quickly has been very helpful for us. The manager Kelly has been very helpful & is approachable with any questions I may have.

Despite several changes in the home management over the past 18 months Dad is well looked after as the caring staff (ground floor team in particular) have been very welcoming from the outset and are truly lovely, they show genuine care and compassion towards Dad and the other residents. The events and entertainment provided is very popular and well organised with a variety of activities most weekdays. It is homely, well kept, clean, and tidy and the carers, nursing and management team have responded well if I do have queries or issues to raise.

It so in March 2026 she was going downhill we couldn't give her the care she required. Dementia is hard to cope with. We needed help that's where Persley Castle came in, when she first went in Ofcourse there were a few hiccups, she progressed then went downhill was in sedative state for a bit, but when mentioned they quickly had her medication reviewed and changes were made since then she's now up and walking around constantly she's sleeping better eating better drinking better and most importantly being cared for better. I can't say enough how above and beyond some of the staff go in order to help the residents and their family's and visitors, they are like a big happy family and I feel comfortable asking questions and enquiring about my mum and they usually have answers, if they don't will get them .no home is perfect and can always do with help with funding etc but yeah keep up the good work

Staff are friendly and respectful to residents and family members. Staff engage well with residents and always help provide support when needed. If I require assistance or help with dad they always provide me with assistance and give guidance and support. The staff nurses are excellent and always keep me informed with dad's appointments and changes to his medication. I do feel that due to the nature of dad's condition and him having some capacity he doesn't engage in social activities and I do worry he isolates himself too much. However, I am aware that staff do try to get him involved but he chooses not too. His eating habits are a'lot better. Personal care and hygiene are good, but I feel he needs stronger encouragement to change into clean clothes. I have absolutely no concerns about dad's safety and I appreciate all the staff do for dad.

I have nothing but praise for the care my mother Caroline receives at Jesmond Care Home. The facilities are first class and the level, and range of activities provided for residents is first class. There is always something for the residents to take part in to keep them as active as possible physically and mentally. The staff are caring and friendly and my mum thinks of many of them as friends, especially Jade, Ange and Nicola to mention just 3 of the staff who go the extra mile. Even Colin who drives the minibus on the regular outings deserves a special mention for his caring attitude and friendly demeanour. We worried that mum might struggle to cope with life in a new care home however she really enjoys calling Jesmond her home. We regularly take mum out for visits to the family and there is no issue when it is time to take mum back. She's off and running back in happily waving us by which is great to see. Would highly recommend Jesmond to anyone who requires such level of care.

I could not ask for a better place for my Uncle to be living.

My brother is well cared for and benefits from the kind interest that the carers give him. He doesn't like to participate in many of the activities but he has liked the outings he has been on. The carers make sure he has his hair cut and his clothes are tidy .

Very happy with care home and my relative is well cared for.would be nice to get more feedback about how my relative is getting on and if their is any problems with the care.some carers do inform me about daily things but others don't say a thing.management we're going to email relatives with feedback but up to now haven't had any contact.

Having moved my husband from a very unsatisfactory care home, I am delighted with Benvie. Everything they have provided is of a superior standard & the manager has anticipated all my husband's needs both for his health & his comfort.

My mum has been a resident in Jesmond Care Home since March 2019. We have never had an issue with anything at the home. The staff are all friendly and approachable. My mum is now in advanced stage of Alzheimer's and cannot tell us anything but from what we see she is extremely well looked after and is always clean and tidy. The staff know my mum well now as she has been there for so long! Although my mum can no longer participate in the activities there is always something going on for the residents who are able to participate. The activities coordinators put in a great deal of work to make the days enjoyable for the residents. Overall an excellent care home. Keep up the good work!

I am mostly happy with the care that my granda receives apart from the many falls he seems to be having but I am happy that they contact me each time, make sure he is okay and contact a doctor if need be.

Maybe more Scottish fare on the menu.

Visited to talk to the activities co-ordinator regarding an outing my uncle was going on. She was more than helpful and put my mind at ease.

Some of the staff have gone above and beyond to help and I really appreciate them.

My mum has been a resident here since October 2020 and I couldn't ask for a better service for her. The service is cleaned to a high standard, the staff are excellent and knowledgable and adhere to all the principles of excellent care. They treat my mum like she is part of the family and with dignity and compassion even during challenging moments. They know my mums likes and dislikes and her wee quirks but she's also included when activities etc are happening . Highly recommend.
