Overall Experience

My mother required to go into long term care and we visited and spoke to a few care homes. On our first visit to Clinton House we were welcomed with open arms and a lovely sense of warmth. We spoke about mum, her likes, dislikes, what care she would require and how things had been in the past and what we hoped for the future. During the whole visit the main concern and topic of conversation was my mum and and what would be best for her. Mum moved into Clinton House just before Christmas and I was worried as to how she would settle. Well within 48 hours my mum was a changed woman - she was smiling again, she was happy in her own wee world and said she loved "the hotel". The staff were absolutely fantastic and went along with us and mum and her being in the best 5 star hotel. We are now in June - 6 months since mum moved into the home and she is so so settled, happy and content. The staff have been absolutely fantastic thank you xx

Overall Experience
Since my dad had to be put into care last year, the staff and management has been like a 2nd family to me, keeping me and my family updated on how my dad has been. With my dad's dementia they have been absolutely brilliant with him even when his illness gets worse at times.
Even though my dad can't remember day to day things the carers lets me know that he's joining in activities, having conversations with other residents ect so I know he's settled there.

I honestly can't thank every single person who works there enough as they treat my dad there really well.

Overall Experience

My husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and had to be moved from hospital to full time nursing care. Clinton House could not have been nicer or more caring to myself and my son. My husband was made welcome immediately. The staff have all been amazing with him, caring, considerate, kind. We could not have wished for better. They try continually to include him with activities which given his preferences is very hard work but they continue to try. The staff are always welcoming and happy when we visit. I honestly could not wish for a better care facility and a very hard situation is made easier knowing where he is. The nicest thing was said to myself the other day, "we are here to support you too" which was so kind as I was having a bad day at that time. I could not praise Clinton any higher and I am so glad we chose it.

Staff always cheerful and helpful dealing with my MIL in a kind and compassionate manner albeit in sometimes difficult circumstances.
Catering and variety of food is also first class.
Furthermore I am always welcolmed warmly on all visits and regularly updated as to condition and health circumstances, particularly important as regular updates help understanding of MIL well-being.

Overall my family and I are delighted with the services provided by Clinton House

Nursing home was the best decision my Uncle has made. He is well cared for and very happy in Clintion house. He told me it's a beautiful place and they should advertise it more because lots of people would want to come and live here. My Uncle is constantly smiling and loves to watch all the comings and goings. The staff are lovely, with the company of lovely residents his day goes fast.
