Do not put your loved ones in this place, not fit for purpose, is dirty, needs to be redecorated, and rooms are gloomy. They failed to register my dad with a doctor, and failed to give him enough fluids in hot weather. He was made to share a room which compromised his privacy and dignity. The owners
are not interested in welfare just the money, but no money is spent on facilities or enough staff, who were doing their best under poor conditions.

My dad was put into Lizdean on an emergency basis. He had dementia.
Procedures were not followed. My dad was there for 5 weeks and was never registered temporarily with a GP. I was asked to request antibiotics from my dad's GP, however, I have now learned this is wrong as it was out of the boundaries
of the medical practice.
The GP where my father used would no longer provide care as he was not in their area. Lizdean repeatedly asked me to request Antibiotics from the doctor for Dad when he became very ill however this would never have been issued.
Lizdean should have registered my dad with a temporary GP. He had not slept for 2 days and got a UTI and they let him suffer. A doctor finally came at 7 pm and my dad got meds.
The building itself is not fit to be a care home. Dark, gloomy. dreary sitting rooms. No lift, just a stair chair. No secure garden. No outings and entertainment is minimal.
I found the owners uncaring as they gave my mum a bill in her hand as we left with my dad.
Not good enough.
