The home is wonderfully small. This creates a family-like environment. Everyone knows each other. The staff are attentive and really do treat our family member like their own family.
100% recommended. Great team and can't ask for more.

Robert has had an amazing transition from hospital to care home. It was a challenge to find somewhere perfect for him, he would not have liked a massive corporate care home. Lizdean, the management team and all the support staff have been outstanding.
17 residents and he was so happy at the
family feel of the home. The first few weeks the transition went smoothly because of all of the above and now, he says he wants to go home rather than the care home.
The care is amazing and Robert is settled and content, something we did not expect to happen so quickly. I do feel this is to do with the staff all being familiar faces.
Could not be more pleased with this. Thank you Lizdean for everything you do, you all really do go above and beyond for him and the family.

The staff have been fab with my Grandfather as he adjusts to living in a home they are also incredibly accommodating when we visit and give us space to spend time as a family especially when i bring my son in or we take my grandfather out to spend time as a family

I would like to thank the entire staff at Lizdean who have taken exceptional care of my great aunt for over 14 years. They treat my aunt with respect and kindness and she is always made to feel like family. The staff are attentive and are always available for family members.

Mum was admitted from hospital after a fall. We found staff helpful and friendly. Mum struggled to settle but the staff were patient and she eventually settled in. Mum appears content and happy. Our only concern was the stairs but a downstairs room became available and Mum was moved. Staff have
good communication. Mum enjoys the live music sessions and arts/craft sessions.

Do not put your loved ones in this place, not fit for purpose, is dirty, needs to be redecorated, and rooms are gloomy. They failed to register my dad with a doctor, and failed to give him enough fluids in hot weather. He was made to share a room which compromised his privacy and dignity. The owners
are not interested in welfare just the money, but no money is spent on facilities or enough staff, who were doing their best under poor conditions.

My dad was put into Lizdean on an emergency basis. He had dementia.
Procedures were not followed. My dad was there for 5 weeks and was never registered temporarily with a GP. I was asked to request antibiotics from my dad's GP, however, I have now learned this is wrong as it was out of the
boundaries of the medical practice.
The GP where my father used would no longer provide care as he was not in their area. Lizdean repeatedly asked me to request Antibiotics from the doctor for Dad when he became very ill however this would never have been issued.
Lizdean should have registered my dad with a temporary GP. He had not slept for 2 days and got a UTI and they let him suffer. A doctor finally came at 7 pm and my dad got meds.
The building itself is not fit to be a care home. Dark, gloomy. dreary sitting rooms. No lift, just a stair chair. No secure garden. No outings and entertainment is minimal.
I found the owners uncaring as they gave my mum a bill in her hand as we left with my dad.
Not good enough.
