Wendy is a registered nurse who joined Windyhall in June 2024.
She started her career in care in 1999, qualifying in 2007.
Wendy worked within the NHS as a charge nurse with a special interest in older adults living with frailty and dementia.
Douglas joined Windyhall in 2022 as a staff nurse and, within the same year, was promoted to Deputy Manager. In 2025, he left for a short time before returning as Deputy Manager.
Douglas qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2016 and has spent his career working in Elderly care within the NHS and other care homes. Before completing his nursing degree, Douglas had been working in Elderly care since 2009
Meet Sharon, who has been our Home Administrator since January 2021.
Sharon has an extensive administration background. Worked 18 years in aircraft maintenance technical records. Technical Services Manager for British Aerospace based in Filton, Bristol and overseas.
John joined Windyhall in 2015 as our Head Chef and has been "cooking" up delights in the kitchen ever since. He is supported by Chef Mark and 2 kitchen assistants, Michael and Simon.
Mark has been the Chef at Windyhall since 2022, bringing many years of hotel experience to us.
Shirleyann has been with Windyhall since 2015 and has been the Head Housekeeper since 2024. Shirleyann is an excellent baker; she treats the residents and staff regularly to homemade cakes and scones.
Jane has been our Activity Co-Ordinator since April 2024, having worked in the care sector since 2010. Trained as a florist assistant and is keen on crafting. Jane has a passion for horses, having owned and shown Clydesdales at the competition level.
Ian joined the Windyhall team in October 2025 and has many years of experience in maintenance, including aircraft maintenance.
