My Dad and Mum were resident here since 2021/22. My Mum continues as a resident, both had complex needs. Family have found the interest shown by care and nursing staff and management very reassuring. Care staff, including nursing staff, very forward in making my Mum comfortable and negotiating when she is distressed due to dementia. Communication is very good and we always feel welcome when visiting. Keen input to activities to suit all abilities. The home itself is very tidy and clean. Well done all.

I find the whole atmosphere very welcoming and my young son loves to visit which is fantastic as he has been frightened to visit other care homes in the past. Mum has been in Pond Park Care Home since 01/17 and we are very pleased with all aspects of her care. She is happy and well cared for by all the staff who know her by her Christian name. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the staff appear to be actually enjoying looking after the residents.

Generally, the care staff are extremely good and kind and caring. Two members of staff, in particular, are head and shoulders above anyone else for going far above and beyond their duty when caring for father, although all the care staff are extremely attentive and work well with father.
