My mother has been in Ardmaine from July 1st and is very happy and content staff are very friendly toward me and I am happy with the care she gets.

Television programmes in the lounges seem irrelevant to the residents and can inhibit conversation. An alternative would be programmes/DVD's of nature/wildlife or general scenery with no sound or else background music.
Staff are helpful, cheery and attentive to residents and visitors.
Thank you for letting us know how we are doing at Ardmaine Care Home. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing.
My father has just finished 10 days of respite in Ardmaine. He was made extremely welcome and new faces from his last stay. The Manager was extremely kind he had an eye infection and it was looked at and antibiotics were given the next day. The staff are very friendly and visitors are made to feel welcome it has been my father’s 3rd time to stay. I am very happy to recommend anyone’s parent’s having to go to Ardmaine I’d have no objection for my dad to return when required. Thanks very much.
Thank you, Brendan, for letting us know how we are doing at Ardmaine Care Home. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing.
Overall I think my mother has and is currently receiving a good standard of care. There have been some issues raised about staff members but I do feel they were dealt with appropriately and efficiently. Some of the facilities such as buzzers in rooms would need to be updated and more user-friendly. I would like to see more activities to stimulate residents and more exercise introduced. Presently the standard of care has improved and the majority of staff are very good.

My mother has been a resident of Ardmaine for 14 months. Her needs have increased as her Alzheimers has progressed. Both the nursing staff and carers have been fantastic in supporting mum. In particular, one of the nurses stood out in his attention to detail and willingness to help.

The staff at Ardmaine Care Home are very professional in their care of my relative, they are kind in their compassion for her. They provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, with gentle humour and understanding. As a relative, they are supportive and helpful to me in my concerns about healthcare needs for my relative and always available to speak to for reassurance, advice and support. Ardmaine is a lovely old building kept to a good standard and always clean and tidy. Activities and outings planned.

A clean and cheerful place where all the residents are treated with courtesy and respect by all the staff. The nurses are really good at keeping an eye out for things like how well each resident is eating, keeping as active as possible and engaging them in social activities.

My mother has been in the care of Ardmaine Care Home for the past 3 years and still is. Also my mother-in-law for last 10 years. Rip 2016. As I visited her every week I knew when my mum needed 100% care and attention. This was the place for her. The manageress provides great care for her patients and family alike. Her team of nurses and care assistants including foreign staff provide a great safe and caring package for my mother and all the patients. Also this care I could not provide for my mother at home.
