Blanchelande Park Nursing & Residential Home

I have been staying in Blancheland Park now for many weeks and to me, it's like being in a 5 star hotel. The help I get is great, the staff, carers and helpers are always there when I need them and the food is super. I cannot think of anything more Blancheland can do for me. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful.

'Blanchelande Park Nursing & Residential Home' is set in beautiful gardens with views out to sea through the pine trees. This rural and tranquil picture sets the scene for a most caring, warm atmosphere within the house. Nothing is too much trouble - day or night- help is just a push of a button away and residents are encouraged to use all the help available. A full week of activities takes place, from going out on bus rides to quizzes and bingo and for those wishing to partake, Holy Communion is celebrated twice a month. Cleanliness was paramount, residents always looking nicely dressed and happy. Food is excellent, very varied choice and always nicely presented.

This is the second respite week my wife and I have stayed at Blanchelande Park. It is beautifully situated in a countryside area within 20 minutes walk through lanes to the cliff overlooking the sea. The management and staff were very welcoming and attentive to our medical needs and general comfort.

4. Altogether a nice place to live with a happy atmosphere and comfortable rooms and caring staff.

My mother has been in Blanchelande for three years and has been well cared for. In this time there has generally been an improvement in the love of care, but of course it is up to the care of the individual staff on the day. The management team are always ready to listen, they do try to implement suggestions but can be limited by the confines of a building that was not purpose built.
