Overall Experience
The staff are wonderful, all are caring, professional and dedicated. They are in the front line of coronavirus and deserve all the support they need.
The space in my flat is a luxury. There is a lovely garden, with lots of wild birds singing. The food is delicious, vegan and delivered. It has been my home for more than 4 years, and I hope to be leaving for a more spiritual community.

Drawback: There is virulent racism in the area, female as much as male. Some of the residents are also racist - Shameful!!

I recently moved into Roden Court over the past 6 weeks, the management team and carers have welcomed and supported my move into an extra care facility.
There are nice activities, food, games and other residents are nice.

My flat is warm, clean and homely.

It is very difficult to answer all questions because standards vary from nurse to nurse - some nurses are helpful and friendly, others somewhat cold, some do not speak clearly or well, some appear sulky, some are like rays of sunshine! Management reasonable. A very mixed community.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback, which we appreciate and will investigate. However, I would like to point out that we don't have any nurses as Roden Court is independent living. We are not a residential home, which is the setting that would put on activities normally.

I have a carer each morning for half an hour to help me after my shower (i.e. getting dressed); she then makes the bed and clears the rubbish. I use a walking frame when indoors but use a wheelchair when out and need my husband to push me.
