The care you gave to my father, who came into your home for the last few months of his life, was nothing short of inspirational. There is not one member of staff I would like to pick out as outstanding - as the entire team were. Every time we visited my father, he was always in good spirits and was so well cared for - it was just so re-assuring for us all. I can honestly say that the care given by the staff was truly humbling - so again, thank you all.

Kristy joined Stocks Hall on October 18, 2016, starting as a nurse on the Coppice/Wicker unit before becoming deputy manager for seven years and now serving as Care Home Manager. With over 25 years of nursing experience, Kristy began her career as a Theatre Nurse after qualifying in 1995 from Sefton School of Health Studies & Edge Hill.
Her journey into social care began with night shifts in a care home, but Stocks Hall became her true calling. Initially a germaphobe, she learned to embrace the tactile nature of care, discovering the importance of emotional connections. Over her eight years at Stocks Hall, Kristy has received extensive training and feels she’s grown more here than during her formal education.
As a manager, Kristy focuses on empowering her staff and fostering growth and potential within her team. Her approachable demeanour helps create a positive atmosphere that benefits residents and families alike. Known for her hands-on involvement in all aspects of home life—including fundraising events—Kristy embodies the spirit of community.
Looking ahead, she remains dedicated to continuous improvement. “This is our home, and we want it to be the best it can be — outstanding,” she says. Under Kristy’s leadership, Stocks Hall is a vibrant, ‘mad’ family where every member is valued.
