My mother was a resident at Elliott House from April 2022 for almost four years until her death in March 2026. My family all agree that the best decision we could have made in terms of Mum's care, was to have chosen Elliott House, bringing her to Birmingham to be close to me but also giving her a 'home for life' with a new family. The wonderful staff there always put Mum's wellbeing first and always kept me in the loop when there were any concerns about her health. They treated Mum with great professionalism, with respect and humour and recognised her as the funny, intelligent, determined lady her family all knew and loved. Elliott House sets very high standards in the care it aims to provide its residents. The food is excellent and the organised programme of activities is second to none. This is a care home that I would, without hesitation, recommend to others.

My farther in law was in this care home from 19th January until the 12th of February 2026 although he was only in there 31/2 weeks the manager Karen and her staff went above and beyond to settle him in and make him comfortable and we are only sorry his stay there couldn't be for longer you hear so many bad things about care homes but I would have no hesitation to recommend this place to anyone in the future

My mum is being well cared for. The staff keep me updated and transparent in the treatment and care for her.

The activities are varied and a lot of effort goes into planning, with all the staff encouraged to take part in special events, e.g. afternoon teas, when a lot of staff dress up and the kitchen makes a variety of cakes, this reflects on the good management of the home. Thank you to all.

Elliott House is outstanding. Mom moved into care leaving her home of 73 yrs, very stressful. Elliott House made transition for us and mom seamless, gave peace of mind. Everyone is passionate friendly approachable; most of all they CARE. Residents looked after with dignity & respect; staff supportive going above and beyond. The home is spotless, smells fresh & well-maintained, a beautiful garden. Daily activities keep the residents stimulated, singers on birthdays, fetes, cultural celebrations. You're greeted with a smile offered a cuppa. Mom's care has been second to none over four years they have always ensured she is clean & tidy, well dressed. Over the past six months, mom became bedridden, they ensured she was clean and comfy, medical needs religiously maintained although her behaviour challenging at times they dealt with this calmly. Mom passed away not only will we miss her immensely, we'll also miss friendships made. To mom & us family is everything & to us you are family.

This care home is well managed clean and caring. They look after all of my fathers needs as he has dementia. The management are always available for updates on his health should he need my reassurance and I'm not there the staff phone me and let me talk to him or if that doesn't work then they invite me to come to visit him. You can certainly trust this home to take great care of your loved ones

Can't fault any of the staff here at Elliott House. They are the most caring people. My parent's been in a few homes and none are anywhere near as good as this one. It's like being part of a big happy family. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The home itself is very well maintained and clean. Some homes smell quite nasty, but this one in my opinion is fantastic. The food is great, and plentiful. My parent is always clean and fresh smelling too. I wish we'd have had the opportunity to put my parent in here first, because they'd have been better treated, looked after, than the other homes they'd been put in.

Overall, we found the car given to my brother at Elliott House very good. His Alzheimers has got worse during the last three years and his behaviour can be very challenging. Staff were good to let us know when there was a problem, when he was admitted to hospital etc. My only criticism is that on several occasions we would phone to speak to someone and calls were not always returned.

As a family, we were stressed and saddened when we had to put our dad into a care home. Thank goodness it was this care home he came to. We can't rate the staff highly enough. They are friendly and welcoming and clearly care very much about the residents. The level of care is very high. The little events they put on are fabulous. It's a very calm, welcoming and happy atmosphere. I can't rate this care home highly enough.

My sister has been a resident at this home since 2020. It's always a pleasure to visit, the home is clean, fresh smelling and the staff are great. Residents have lots of activities and it's always decorated to reflect the current season. Food is freely available with regular rounds of the tea trolley, plus biscuits, crisps, fresh fruit etc. A credit to the management.

My mom spent almost 3 years at Elliott House. She has recently passed and the care from the carers was fantastic. You all became part of her family. Special thanks to four staff members in particular along with everyone else. The kindness you’ve shown my mom will stay with me forever. You all played a part in making her last years of life special. I know Mom would like me along with all her family to say Thank you for the best care and for making us all welcome into your special home.
