Welcome to Lakeview
Three 10-bed units will provide care and support to individuals with early-onset dementia, enduring mental ill-health, Huntington’s disease and rehabilitation.
Service users will be encouraged to decorate their large, light and airy bedrooms to suit their individual tastes. Two specialist bariatric bedroom suites are available on the ground floor.
Each unit has beautiful and spacious lounges, with views over the lake. In addition, therapy kitchens are available for all service users, families and friends to use.
Life at Lakeview
A dedicated clinical team will carry out occupational, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy with service users. Alongside the therapy team, a multi-disciplinary team will support service users and work closely with consultants, GP’s, allied health professionals, specialist nurses, mental health teams and more, to ensure service users receive the best quality of care.
Exemplar supports service users in achieving their individual goals. The goals and outcomes outlined are personal to each individual, and ensure staff, families and most importantly, service users are all working together to achieve their goals.
Lakeview also features an additional space for activities and socialising, separate to the main home – The Hub. The Hub will host training and events by healthcare professionals and community groups, as well as providing an additional space for service users to carry out activities, have fun socialising and get creative.
Landscaped gardens are accessible for all, complete with vegetable patches and areas for carrying out activities. The first-floor also features a glass-walled balcony, providing further outside space
