Welcome to Lakeview
Their newest nurse-led service, Lakeview is currently on track to become a purpose-built care home designed for 30 service users. Three 10-bed units will provide care and support to individuals with early-onset dementia, enduring mental ill-health, Huntington’s disease and rehabilitation.
Each unit has been designed to include large, light and airy bedrooms complete with ensuite wet rooms. Dining rooms complete with therapy kitchens, a large accessible bathroom and a choice of communal lounges are all part of Lakeview’s design, as well as two specialist bariatric bedroom suites on the ground floor.
Life at Lakeview
A dedicated therapy suite will allow for occupational, physio and speech and language therapy to be carried out on-site. Exemplar support service users in achieving their individual goals, as laid out in their care plan. The goals and outcomes outlined are personal to each individual, and ensures staff, families and most importantly service users are all working together to achieve their goals.
Lakeview will also feature a new space for activities and socialising, separate to the door of the home – The Hub. The Hub will host clinics and events by healthcare professionals and community groups, as well as providing an additional space for service users to carry out activities, have fun socialising and get creative.
Landscaped gardens are accessible for all, complete with vegetable patches, areas for carrying out activities and a nearby allotment to carry out additional planting and potting.
