My great-aunt moved into Bluebell Wing a few months ago and loves everything about it. We are thrilled she has settled so well and this is down to the wonderful staff and their patience and commitment to making the residents happy. She is very well cared for as she has a number of health issues, all
of which are addressed by the carers. The individual rooms and communal areas are beautifully decorated and fresh. My great aunt's bedroom is spacious and she has a wet room. There is always something going on and outings plus a fabulous hairdresser on site. Family are always made so welcome and the staff remember our names. There is outdoor space for the residents to enjoy and the home has close links with the local primary school. The home is well run by the management team who are approachable, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can't rate the home highly enough. Special shout out to Bluebell staff and another team member and her activities team.

My mum passed away yesterday after almost two years at Springvale, two years when we knew she was cared for when we could relax and just enjoy visiting her. The staff became like family, always caring, and always friendly. I can't recommend this wonderful place highly enough. Our family loved the amazing
birthday and Mother's Day events we could all enjoy with Mum.

My sister has been a resident of Springvale Care Home for nearly two months and we have found that the staff are extremely efficient, professional, hardworking and welcoming with regard to my sister. She has settled in really well and is very happy in her surroundings.
The home itself is very clean
and there is a good choice of food on the menu daily with nothing too much trouble. The individual rooms are very bright and there are various other areas where residents can mingle.
The facilities are excellent and my sister is certainly thriving in their care. It offers many activities and outings which encourage the residents to socialise with one another.
I would highly recommend Springvale Care Home and thank the staff for the great care they take in looking after my sister and the other residents.

Mum has been at the home for over a year. The care and friendship are second to none. Very grateful we picked this care home. There are daily activities to keep the residents active and having a laugh with tea and cakes never far away. Brilliant care home.

My sister has recently moved into Springvale Care Home and arrived to a lovely welcome by all staff. The staff have gone above and beyond caring for her. Her room is lovely and kept immaculate. There are great activities each week and outings. The onsite handyman has put up pictures, mirrors etc and
made it very homely. The admin team have been great getting her registered with doctors etc. Cannot rate the staff highly enough. I would recommend this wonderful to anyone.

From our initial visit to the home we as a family could tell this was a special place. The home is so welcoming and scrupulously clean. Each area is fresh and modern. It is stressed that this is the residents' home and they/their family can come and go as they please. The room my aunt has is beautiful,
the decor is neutral and the furniture is modern and more than adequate storage is provided. Residents are encouraged to make it feel like their own room so the resident handyman puts up pictures and we used our own bedding. There is a fabulous wet room in each room and a wonderful assisted bathroom. The staff go above and beyond, nothing is a bother. My aunt has had her hair cut and highlighted and her nails done in her first week at the home. The personal care my aunt is receiving is amazing. All management team are so approachable and have helped us navigate getting my aunt in and settled. The staff on Bluebell Wing are the most dedicated and caring professionals. 10/10 score all round.

My mum had been in hospital. I brought her home to her unit, and what a lovely welcome home she received from all the care staff, so genuine and caring, attentive and thoughtful.
Staff had made Mum's room all cosy and tidy and ensured checks were done. After informing the staff that Mum may have a
pressure sore, her mattress was fitted with pressure relief, and the nurse contacted for appropriate checks and prescriptions.
The care and attention are second to none.
Caring is an extremely difficult job, and Springvale Staff continue to provide the best.

I wanted to express how happy I am with my sister's care in Springvale. It has been very hard for her to give up her home and move into the home, but the staff have been so supportive and caring. They constantly go the extra mile for her, and she has settled so well.
She is constantly busy with outings
and activities within the home and has made friends, which is wonderful because she was lonely at home.
For me, it is a great weight off my shoulders that she is so happy and content and is being looked after so well.
I would also like to mention the manager, who is so lovely and always is available to talk to.

I would like to commend Springvale Care Home. Mum has been taken care of there for almost two years now, and she is being well cared for. As a relative, the staff are all like part of a big family, from the Admin staff as you come in the front door to the hairdresser Alison, the kitchen, laundry and
cleaning staff, who are always interested in Mum’s well-being and chat to her when they are in her room. Unable to visit because of Covid on Mum’s recent 99th birthday, the staff in the Primrose unit made the day special for her and sent me photos of the occasion. It meant so much to me. The standard of the food is excellent at the moment thanks to innovative ideas in the kitchen, and the efficiency of the laundry has also improved. As with any situation, there are occasional glitches, but the unit staff and management are keen to hear any complaints and are quick to take action to remedy the situation. Well done everyone.

Choosing a care home for a loved one is difficult, but every day, I am so glad that I chose Springvale. Mum is well cared for and contented, and the staff display professionalism, affection and respect for the residents. The month of December is filled with lots of lovely events and celebrations - watching
the hard work that the carers put into ensuring that Christmas Day was special for the residents was very heartwarming. The manager and his superb team have worked hard to ensure that the home is a warm, welcoming place, and staff at all levels and all departments are friendly and helpful.

Very friendly, welcoming home.
My mum has been there for a year now, and the staff do a very caring role; it undoubtedly takes a great deal of pressure off the family.
If there are any issues, communication is extremely good, with open doors to the manager and deputy.
It's not perfect, but nowhere
is, but this is next to it.

I cannot thank this home enough for looking after my grandmother. They have always treated her with dignity and respect. When she has been confused, they have taken time to reassure her, settle her, and best of all, make her laugh.
She always said laughter is the best medicine, and now she is getting
her fill.
The staff in the Primrose unit have not only taken care of her but also been a great support to the family.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this home.

Fantastic activity programme for December. Great variety of entertainment which I think would cover everyone's needs. I went to some of the entertainment and loved it. The jive dancers were absolutely amazing. Great energy. The songs they danced to, all the residents remembered and sang along.

Springvale is a comfortable and welcoming place with a really nice atmosphere and high standards of cleanliness.
The staff are very friendly and treat Mum as an individual - taking time to know her likes/dislikes. They are open to feedback/suggestions and are excellent at keeping me informed if Mum
is unwell. I feel we are regularly involved in decisions made regarding her well-being.

Great facilities and wonderful staff. Unbelievable compassion and professionalism shown to my wife and to me throughout her stay, and the dignity given to her during her sudden decline and end-of-life care was exemplary. Mum arrived at Springvale Home in September 2023. After a year of being in and out of hospital care, she had been confused and unsettled when she arrived. I was very concerned about how she would feel, but I worried unnecessarily. The staff are wonderful, and nursing care is excellent. Any concerns
are taken care of. The team really listen and cares about each individual and welcomes visitors. The home is extremely clean and welcoming. There are activities, outings and newsletters. Mum can’t always remember the things she’s been doing, but I know she is happy and safe there. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My dad was diagnosed with dementia and was resettled into Springvale Care Home. The staff here are amazing, showing extremely high standards of individualised care. Victor has worked in the care home sector for over 35 years in a variety of roles such as a Nurse, Deputy Manager, Regional Director and more recently Home Manager.


With so many years under his belt, things can often become repetitive, however Victor feels that joining the team at Springvale has been refreshing, the team is amazing and together they have a passion to provide outstanding care.

I joined the wonderful team at Springvale in February 2019 initially as a clinical service manager before stepping into the Deputy Manager role in 2021.


I have over 14 years of experience in elderly care and working in a variety of care roles before attending Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014 to obtain my Nursing Degree. On gaining this I worked within many NHS sectors including Oncology and Palliative care however my passion has always been supporting the elderly within the private care sector and promoting the deliverance of high-quality person-centred care, with positive outcomes.
