Victor has worked in the care home sector for over 35 years in a variety of roles such as a Nurse, Deputy Manager, Regional Director and more recently Home Manager.
With so many years under his belt, things can often become repetitive, however Victor feels that joining the team at Springvale has been refreshing, the team is amazing and together they have a passion to provide outstanding care.
I joined the wonderful team at Springvale in February 2019 initially as a clinical service manager before stepping into the Deputy Manager role in 2021.
I have over 14 years of experience in elderly care and working in a variety of care roles before attending Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014 to obtain my Nursing Degree. On gaining this I worked within many NHS sectors including Oncology and Palliative care however my passion has always been supporting the elderly within the private care sector and promoting the deliverance of high-quality person-centred care, with positive outcomes.
I joined Springvale in 2021 as a unit manager and have now been successfully promoted to Clinical Service Manager. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 and I am passionate about ensuring that everyone who comes to live with us is treated with dignity and respect.
Katy is the Unit Manager on our Bluebell community.
Tammy is the dedicated Unit Manager for the Thistle Community.
Karen is a dedicated Staff Nurse at Springvale Care Home.
Andrea is a dedicated Activities Coordinator at Springvale Care Home, where she plays a vital role in enriching the daily lives of residents. With a warm, engaging approach and a deep understanding of individual needs, Andrea designs and leads a wide variety of meaningful activities tailored to each resident’s interests and abilities.
From arts and crafts to music sessions, gentle exercise, and community events, Andrea ensures there is always something stimulating and enjoyable on offer. Her goal is to promote well-being, encourage social connection, and help every resident feel valued and involved.
Passionate about creating a positive, home-like atmosphere, Andrea works closely with families and care staff to support each person’s emotional and social needs, making Springvale not just a place to live, but a place to thrive.
Ross joins the team here at Springvale as our Head Chef having trained at the City of Glasgow College and then going on to complete a HNC in professional cookery. Ross is passionate about his kitchen and ensuring that each dish leaving the kitchen is the best it can be; he loves to cook with fresh ingredients and his specialty is pasta dishes. Ross enjoys meeting residents and their families and holding resident menu meetings to learn more about what our residents would like to see from the dining here at Springvale.
Pat has been a key member of the Springvale team for a couple of years and is the man who can fix it. Pat enjoys helping out the residents and staff with any requests and describes working at Springvale as being more like family than a workplace.
Lynne has over 10 years of administration experience and has worked at Springvale for 3 years. Lynne loves coming to work as the residents and staff are amazing.
